Dual-wield is my kinda thing, so I'll go with that. Although double handed could be fun as well.

Well, they decided to use the hedge knight for the dual wielding battle, so that explains the predictability there since the patterns were almost the same as IB1. Additionally, the horse headed guy in the first battle had the same moves as the dark knight. But, the middle one had a lot of different moves with the shield bashes, and I imagine there will be plenty of completely original enemies in the 50 promised on release, especially since they can now use bladed staffs and magic.

Edit: the horse headed enemy is actually one that was added in an update to IB1, it's called the rook bane. So that's two old enemies out of three in the video. Maybe they're waiting until preview pt4 to show off new enemies?

IB2 isn't here yet and I'm already wishing for IB3 LOL

I just thought that as IB1 has a medieval-European feel to it and IB2 seems to have an Asian one, IB3 (if there is one) must have an African or Pre-Columbian theme.

    Sorry for the off-topic :)

Not all of IB2 is Asian themed, one of the things chair worked on was adding variation to the environment. Yes, one of the environments is Asian themed, but that theme changes throughout the game.

I'm curious to see how the storyline progresses with this game. The book really immersed me into the game. I even started playing IB1 again just because Siris was so cool after finding out who he is. But if the sequel doesn't keep that level of immersion with the story details I think a lot of people would be sad. The gameplay video released the other day was incredible too. Hopefully there will be another book released or this game starts adding more story itself. I like this duel format source of gaming immersion.

I agree, I mean when it's reveled in the book that Siris is a Deathless called Ausur, my mind was blown. I hope the game reveals why he hates Raidriar so much, and maybe how the Deathless became immortal.

I bet that the Worker of Secrets is going to be someone/something shocking.

    Pre-Columbian would be pretty sweet!

Just finished the book. It's stupid good, wow! Too short though, hoping that they'll make a second. Now I'm even more excited for the game.

The english sounds stupid, they should stick with the made up language.

Wait, what? The characters speak English now? Ugh, the pseudo-language was awesome and really increased the 'isolated' and 'foreign' feel of the game... I have no problem reading everything with subtitles.

This was already theorized that the pseudo language wasn't extensive enough to carry on lengthier dialogue. I think that the voice overs were done with care though. It will sound convincing once you play. Well that's the idea anyway!

I could actually see that being the case.

Yeah, but they'd have to make a movie to more than just the one book. It's too short for a full movie. (Still, a great book.) The book itself makes the whole Infinity Blade story suddenly seem really interesting for some reason! :D
