Dear Friends, We would like to share the video and screenshots of our upcoming iOS game Indie Pixel. Indie Pixel is an experimental title, it's aim is to show how hard it can be to collaborate to reach a common goal when you can't communicate with other people by any other means but just winking. Life as a pixel is easy and fun when you have lots of friendly pixels nearby ready to help. You are a pixel. Your job is to form shapes. Shapes require many pixels cooperating together, and the only way of interaction you have is moving around and winking. Is it possible to build anything useful like that? Come and see! The game features massively multiplayer online gameplay. You'll be able to earn and use all-unique power-ups, dress your pixel the way you want, open parts of the background to unlock pictures, which you can then use as your device's wallpaper. The plan is to release the game on August 22nd. Video is a handmade one, done by On5 co-founder and his son Please enjoy. http://ipixel.on-5.com
Definitely a quirky idea. This one is different enough you could maybe enter a few of the indie game festivals. I'll try it.
I think it'll be cool to someone to try out the game prior to launch. Please grab one of those promo codes to get the game: W6RAEREEJ6RJ WAMEWLTNMEPW 7HNLLWLTEKNX And share your feedback
Thanks for the feedback! That is what many people told after simply skipping the tutorial part. So we've updated the tutorial by asking player to actually complete one simple figure before dropping player into the main room. This update is waiting for Apple's approval at the moment.
Game will be out tonight!! However, it seems like the version with the fixed FTUE will be delayed for another day Or maybe.. we'll see
The game is out now! Please download and share your opinion! Thanks!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/indie-pixel/id649804179?ls=1&mt=8
Just gave it a play. The icon is awesome, it really catches the eye. As for feedback, maybe do a little tutorial message as each character/element are introduced. I kind of had to figure it out by trial and error. Good job!
