And the "Longest Sentence in the World Award" goes to.... Thanks for TOFTT. Nice surprise to wake up to on a slow week.
I share the same impressions as MC, but it's still not close to being my favorite runner. For anyone on the fence, this is well worth $3 in terms of gameplay, fun and content... And that is coming from a guy who hates tilt-only controls.
I'm on the fence mostly because I have so many runners (and usually have to sacrifice at least one for any new one I get )
Just for the record, I generally dislike behind-the-back runners. The Temple Run series are the only ones I still have on any of my devices and I still wouldn't say I love them. I dunno, this just doesn't feel like a runner to me.
I would say so, too. And worth the few bucks for the artwork, the music and the idea of being the rolling stone. Epic in my books. To bad, the (ugly) pause button is in the worst place i can imagine, in the right down corner where i usually have my finger to jump !!! Hope the Devs show up. PS: I.Stone under the icon = Epic
Fresh take on endless runner genre. Pretty much share the sentiments of prior posts. One cool think I noticed that was not mentioned in other posts was that in one of the levels I was ported to the trench run in Star Wars. You are a boulder chasing the x-wing while dodging laser blasts and other obstacles.
Ok I finished easy mode and got the drum, how cool is to roll over snakes and other things being a drum? Its cool, but only until you unlock the next one. Really having a blast, it kinds off reminds me that mighty Dungeon Keeper where you were the bad guy. Its slick. Its awesome. Really looking forward for that endless mode and that star wars section. The graphics and the tune rocks by the way, and so does tilting, works flawless here. Such a unique behind the back runner. This and Chopper Mike are both awesome.
Something to buy this week! Literally did not download a single game last night for the first time in months (not even a free one). Trailer, screens, and impressions are all great.
worth the price of admission! that is for sure. It is really nice to see some developers come out with games that cost more than $.99 or free. (RF, Hackers RPG, this, etc..) Here's to hoping there is a push for games to cost a little more, which hopefully will lead to more quality in the app store.
I thought this looked pretty good. Might hold off for possible touch controls though. Anything that "doesn't feel like (another goddamn boring) runner" is a positive. This is how games are supposed to evolve, rather than the usual copy/paste garbage we get.
yeah, it certainly has a different feel to it. It would be nice if we could get the developer in here and see if they have plans for touch controls.
Yeah, and if the developers read this forum I might add a red arrow with the letters "you" pointing to the rock on the icon, it would be a lot more stricking and when people see the icon might react of out pure interest, and its one of the many things why the trailer grabbed me. My two cents.
Holy crap this game is awesome. It's a runner but it instantly set itself above temple run and the like. Excellent music, no IAP, just 100% skill required for the challenge. The game also has hilarious dialogue and animations. Lots of modes and unlockables. Top notch game. Easily worth the price if not more. In fact, this game should be an example every developer should follow.
Andy, metalcasket, I cant you on my friends list at GameCenter... And everyone else, please add me: )Frost(
