Technically, this is somewhat possible. I had a basic understanding of it and could write simple functions after finishing a book I bought on it in about a week. The chances of somebody doing this over a winter break doesn't seem likely though.
It is possible. My facepalm before (yes, I realise that I made some mistakes and didn't actually need to declare the image as I did nothing with it) was made entirely with code I learnt by leaching myself. Actually, here's a sample for a controls prototype (completely unoptimised) for our upcoming game. It's reasonably complex, seeming as I'm 14 and learnt code in about a month. Stolen! Seriously though, you're 14 and you learned that in a month? I'm impressed. Still, we get enough frauds around here to warrant suspicion, especially when they're young. Just 'cause you did it doesn't mean it's easy
Open source app I'm porting. Legally fine. The original is at http://supertux.lethargik.org and I was just trying controls. I learnt from iCodeBlog and Apple code demos. All it takes is a whole lot of determination. It's not easy, but it's definitely do-able. Oh, and my age is real too - check my profile. I was born in 1995.
