thought id share random ideas as im concentrating on 2 projects for a long time. say your moving house, and youre moving what previously fit in 1 room into a new smaller room, the app i was thinking of would allow you to model your new room on the iphone, then add the objects youre trying to fit in. i dont think there would be any need for 3d as when you measure your bed and wardrobe etc, you only take 1 measurement, you dont measure the feet and any overhang further up. you would be able to touch and slide and rearrange the objects, turn of collision detection so objects can be moved inside each other for easy moving, then possibly an alert when no objects are inside each other. i think it would be useful, maybe not something everyone would instantly rush to buy but may appeal to the clever clogs who want to collect every useful thing on the iphone.
