You've been telling us that for weeks now with absolutely no actual update.

Can you provide us with a gameplay video? Perhaps showcase some of the gameplay features and modes? Can you give us a few new screenshots so we can have a comparison to the original screens released?

You are missing a golden opportunity here to harness Touch Arcade as a form of marketing for your company and games. For example, the ONE MAN Development team behind Necromancer Rising has taken to answering TA User questions on a daily basis in his game's thread, which can be found here (Now has over 900 responses). Doing so has caused an exponential increase in interest in his game and drove in many new sales that would have otherwise been lost by the wayside.

Ignoring the frequent calls and questions of an avid gaming community is a catastrophic blunder.

Totally agree with this. Another example is Revolt. They're even discussing the price of the game with the buyers- that dedication is earning the dev so much popularity.

Yay for talking to actual consumers!! Remember more times then not you ( the dev) are making the games for us ( the consumers) so why would you not want to update and connect with the consumers daily? Its us who know what we want...and its us who can relay that to you.

I agree with that. I have purchased SO many titles from one-man game devs mainly because of the fact that they created their games while being active with the TA community and listened to what people want.

To the Dev: I totally appreciate you creating this thread to give us hope of an actuall Ice Hockey game. But post a video or something to keep our mouths watering!! Who knows....you might get some very positive INPUT from TA members who are able to see how the game actually plays. Even if its just from a short video!

Video or it doesnt really exsist :p

Guys, I don't agree with that. There have been smaller titles that people have picked up and are recommending to their friends. Just wait, a full sports game doesn't take weeks to make (enough to make a trailer), but rather a couple of months.

I'm sure Distinctive_Developments is watching over this thread and taking in all of the ideas you are bombarding them with.

You don't agree that they are missing a very important piece to the marketing puzzle by shutting out avid gaming communities like Touch Arcade?

You too, then, are missing the obvious blunder being made.

Make no mistake.....its a GREAT thing that the dev did creating this thread. They said it right on when they stated that ice hockey is the most unrepresented sport in iphone gaming.

I think people are just really siked to see more on this game. And making people drool with some new screenshots or even a video would keep the restless TAers at bay a bit :D

Look, either way, people who are begging for updates are leaning towards buying this. Someone active here will buy it sooner or later, and people who are leaning will then beg for impressions. I'm sure the impressions will be good, being the only full Hockey game on the iPhone.

You are completely skirting the issue at hand, and missing the entire point of the argument.

Okay lets not turn this into an argue thread. I know this is hockey so fighting is kind of natural :p but lets let the devs do their thing now thatvwe have spoken our minds. Its in their hands. Dont make me give anyone a 5 min major!

    LOL at a couple of months...sorry, couldn't resist ;)

I am so looking forward to this game. I think these guys are smart enough not to release something that isn't finished (as so many devs do) just to promise fixes in an update. Devs , take your time on this.

    Hi all,

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I've been real busy at GDC this week and every spare moment has been spent helping to polish our Hockey game for release.

As soon as I'm in the office on Wednesday I'll put together a game-play video as I know you're all desperate to see how it stacks up.

For the time-being here are some new screens showing the work we've been doing on the controls, action replays and player markers.

I should also say, we are hoping to submit at the end of next week if (and that's a big if) bug fixing goes to plan!
