Sounds awesome, but I'm going to be a noob here and ask if this is for PC only? I couldn't find any info saying what platforms it's for.
From their FAQ: - Will I need a powerful system to play ? A medium-end system ( at the time the game is released ) should be enough to run it in medium settings at more than 30 fps. A high-end system is recommended for a better experience, and pushing the graphical settings to the maximum. For more informations, have a look at the system requirements in the DOWNLOAD menu. Older systems might not be able to run the game at all, though. Especially if they are more than 3 or 4 years old. You might have to think about upgrading your computer in that case.

Where you seeing that? I'm seeing the last update as may 04 2010. But yeah, how is this any different to EVE Online?
It's bigger, the combat system is more evolved, there's a planetary engine with smooth transition between space and atmosphere, there's a story, and then everything else that EVE has.
