MechWarrior 2 absolutely does NOT suck. It's a stellar game and is in no way overhyped (though IMO, Earthsiege 2 was indeed better, but it really just built on the excellent framework that MW2 established). p.s: MechWarrior 2 was out and used the acronym MW2 well over a decade before Modern Warfare 2 came out. It has seniority.
