I'm oddly torn on this. Sometimes, I think I prefer games that have a definite end, much like a book -- you're done, you have experienced closure, and then you move on to the next title. Other times, I greatly enjoy the "openendedness" of games, and if something doesn't have an endless mode, random levels, and so on, there is a bit of a "that's all?" feeling. Maybe that's why I like games that offer both, e.g Plants vs. Zombies (iPad version at least), but there aren't many of that kind. The best example, for me, is probably Diablo 2. I have been playing that one for eleven years now, on and off, as the mood strikes. On the other hand, I'm done with MMORPGs where the completion always dangles like a carrot in front of you, but you can never actually reach it (unless you're in a top raiding guild and play on a schedule). Took me six years of WoW to realize that, though.
I just got my ipad2 and started playing 2-3 games per day, about 2-3 hours after work. It's IPAD2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
