I've only got one but it really bothers me every time I see it and just makes me not want to use the phone. Stopped playing games on it cause every time I look at it I get depressed lol. Humph.

Depending on how long you bought it (90 days I believe) as long as you take it into an Apple store and you can get a genuis to check it out and verify or see the dead pixel himself they'll will replace it.

Apple has no official dead pixel policy. Meaning their only policy regarding dead pixels, annomilies, & exessive dust under the screen as long as you show it them and they can see it & you express to them that it's a terrible inconveinence to you they should replace the unit or at least the display.

If it's been more than 90 days they'll say as long as it doesn't hinder performance then they are not obligated to replace or exchange/swap parts because those issues are normal wear and tear at least after 3 months of usage. however as material cost have gone down the quality follows & with more complaints, they've been more flexible and just want to make their customers happy.

I've gotten 2 3G's replaced because of pixelation & 6 3G S units untill I found one with absolutly no dead pixels. It took some articulate expression but the bottom line was I've had each gen of iPhone, I & they know how much of a pain pixelation problem are & can sympithize with your issue (so don't feel like your being a obsessive tool just cause you want perfection).

Just some tips if they replace

in the store it's quite hard to see dead pix because the stores lighting and the phone comes out of box at half brightness.

    When inspecting the new unit
Turn up the brightness all the way>open camera and take a blck photo by putting your finger over the lense>open the photo to look at a completly black screen>inspect

if all seems good repeat those steps at home in a dark room.

If your still not happy call them imediatly to schedual another appointment.

    There's an app for that!
App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

I dunno if it actually works.

Been 3 months to the day and I've already had the screen replaced because it wasn't level in the phone.

Call them and see if they can do anything for you, it can't hurt.
