Nice work people! Keep the awesome entries coming. I'll add some more screenshots to the Flickr feed today. Our biggest issue right now is feature creep - we keep adding abilities to the player! Right now you can: hover, grab, grind, half-pipe, walk, run, jump, climb, swim, kick, punch -- and Jamie has done the animation for flying and shooting which I need to wire up over the next few days. Once we have all the abilities locked down then we can make sure all the locations are challenging and fun as you switch between the different ways of getting around. Our goal for Hover World is to have locations with platforming elements, hidden treasures and secrets that you need to discover by exploring. Casual and novice players won't find these areas at first, but as they get better and unlock abilities and equipment they will progress through to the more challenging areas. So, to answer the question, we are planning to release before Christmas 2010!
Just uploaded some new screenshots for you guys to use in the contest, here's a few of them: Remember you can use any of the full screenshot set at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/45112560@N08/sets/72157624524565787/ (there are almost 150 to choose from right now)
