With the djungle of games in the appstore, I figured Id probably get best results asking here than continuing my search in itunes itself. What Im looking for is any 3D-games where you sneak around rather than shoot yourself trough the levels. Preferrably a horror-game, but any other games that fits the bill of sneaking over action will do. Thanks
You might check out Silent Swords, Grinder Escape, or Darkest Fear...tho the latter 2 are probably more puzzler than actual sneaking.
So far, best they have are the Resident Evil games. I would say Trapped but it was so crappy I have a hard time recommending it. Just alot of balance issues and stuff just make it really hard to get into. Unfortunately, there's no Splinter Cell games (although having Gameloft and Ubisoft together there's a good chance of seeing the DS version of Chaos Theory on the iPhone one day) or a REAL Metal Gear game (MGS Touch doesn't count. It was crap.) for us to play... Otherwise you can try to get NES and get Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge. Also, the GBC version of Metal Gear Solid (Metal Gear: Ghost Babel) is very good and plays well on gameboy4iphone.
Horrible recommendations so far. Listen to this man, get Mystique Ch. 1. Not really a "sneaK" type of game, but it could be fairly scary.
Try Treasure Grab. It plays like a cross between Thief: the Dark Project and Pac-Man. Very satisfying pick-up-and-play sneaking around. For a Metal Gear feel, astonishingly enough the closest thing available now is G-Force: the Game (yes, based on the Disney movie).

I don't think there are any quality Thief/Tenchu-like games in the store (assuming those are the stealth game types you were talking about?)... I suppose most people want to bring either casual games or gory/violent/intense shooting games, for bigger sales.
I'm digging your game Darkest Fear, nice animation, nice creepy atmosphere, interesting story. It does remind me a bit of Silent Hill so far but without all the gore. Very good horror game and perfect for Halloween. I am stuck on Level 3 though! Anyone know how I can get past that room with all the boxes? That monster keeps killing him? Thomas has the flashlight and I am deliberately making him walk in the light to avoid the monsters but that thing keeps getting to him. Please help someone.
