This is really starting to tick me off. I can redeem codes on iTunes via my PC, but not via the App store on my iPhone 4, my ipad, my wifes 3GS or either of my kids 3 iPod touches. I either get to the sign in screen after inputting the code and then nothing happens, or I get that error 5002 posted above. Surely someone knows what is causing this. Never happened before and a full reset of the device does nothing, and neither does signing completely out of iTunes and then back in on my device work. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Same exact thing is happening to me but on an iPod Touch 3G on iOS4. It's really starting to become annoying . I'm hoping someone will figure out a way to fix this soon.
Have You redeemed it via US shop. Wristbreaker promo codes are for US shop only! Besides, Wristbreaker is listed in New and Noteworthy in App Store!.
Yeah. It probably works on your PC because you can choose your store, while on your iDevice, you can't (at least not that I know of).
I've been getting the same problem. I can redeem fine on PC, but not from phone. Getting a blank screen when redeeming after signing in.
I beliene, thats the reason. For example Wristbreaker promo codes were for US store only, but ohten phones are connected to UK or whatever store! And there is no way to change that thing. Improvement idea for Apple - promo codes should work in whatever store.
