Ok I agree what with Headcase games said as far as marketing. But android is no where near where iphone was 3-4 years ago. Not even close ,when in commercials they advertise all the apps you can get almost everything for free. That leads people to buy thier phone , so as far as thier growth , they are growing incrediblely fast. The people who buy android expect free , thats why angry birds is free. Google is making money off thier ADs , they arent in the same buisness model as apple.
Well, I meant as far as "it's not been conquered yet." One thing I have learned during this period is that Android and iPhone are really apples and oranges. But whereas the iPhone market is (beyond) saturated as far as content, there is still a long way to go before a market leader emerges over on Android - it still feels like the Wild West in many ways. Of course, the path "to get there" is a very different one than has been the case with iPhone, and I can't quite say what shape it will take just yet.
