Hi there, We recently updated our most popular app 18,000 COOL JOKES. We changed the whole design, and rearranged some of the buttons. Now, after people updated, many people request the old/previous layout. I find it difficult to understand if this is the old design or old arrangement of the buttons. Anyone has a clue how this would translate "please, put back the old layout"..would this be the old design or the old buttons arrangement? I think the new one looks a lot better. But a lot of people don't like change. They like to get used to something and have it always the same or they get flustered.
I would say probably everything, just maybe add an option where people can choose to use either the old/new design.
The thing is that such an option is quite difficult to implement for this app...we'll add this, but in a month or two probably. Until then, I'd really like to understand what people don't like about the new version.
True, although the new design does look a whole lot better. Trying to understand why people don't like it is probably an exercise in futility, since it could be, well, anything. If you're getting e-mails from customers inquiring about it, ask them what they don't like. I guess the main thing is; don't worry about it too much. Everyone is different and has their own tastes.
