So whenever I plug in my ipod touch it doesn't sync the new songs I have added to iTunes. It says sync is done... so idk what is going on.

I've been having a similar problem; neither apps nor songs will sync onto my iPod.

It'll go through the backup process, and it'll transfer purchases from my iPod, but nothing will sync on. So yea not sure of a fix :/

    1) is your computer authorized for your iTunes account's purchases?
    2) Did you turn off automatic syncing?
    3) Try turning your ipod off by holding down the sleep button until the red slider appears. Then turn it back on and try to sync.
    4) If that doesn't work, try a hard power down by holding the home and sleep buttons together until it turns off. Then turn it on and try to sync again.

I had this problem too - I couldn't sync new songs on. On the "Music" section of the iPhone in iTunes I had specific artists checked and I also had specific songs in my music library unchecked. In the end I changed the option to "sync entire music library" and that seems to be working for me, although I now have to uncheck songs I don't want to be transferred individually rather than checking artists/playlists.
