My birthday is in a week and I don't know what to ask for. Therefore, I am turning to you, the people of Touch Arcade, to give me suggestions on what to ask for. Keep in mind these are gifts for a 17 year old kid, so keep em somewhat childish but nothing too kiddy. For instance I'm probably gonna ask for one of those Force FX lightsabers. Awesome.

Lol, I find it funny how you're past the 'airsoft gun' phase, but you want a lightsaber Anyways, I don't know what you're really into, so I suggest to ask for money and save it for a car (or something you want).
This. In all seriousness though, money and gift cards are probably the best thing you can ask for. Unless you're set on getting something anyway, save that money or put it towards something you're waiting for.
