How about Anita Bath? Just kidding. I agree with many of the previous posters. The names you list are just not common US names and many folks may be confused. I also like another poster's suggestion that alliteration may be a good idea in this case, but I would give us a few more name choices you're considering first.
How is she helping the animals turned into dolls? By crushing them? Maybe the plot need to be revised a bit. Anyways, just throwing these out there: Audacious Allegra Intrepid Ileana Eden's Expedition I kinda like Backpack Betty, it's catchy..even though the backpack does nothing. I don't know how deep into the development you guys are, but I'd love to see some backpack mechanic going on, to set it apart from other platformers. I mean the graphics looks great. The animations are nice. The controls seem good enough (there are only a few minutes of gameplay so I can't say for sure). I played a little bit of the demo and it seems alright. But I think it needs a little bit more pizzazz though. I would probably steer clear from Adventures, Quests, Journeys....the App Store is saturated with those terms...and they can get pretty boring and the app can get lost in there easily. I would consult a thesaurus and find something more unique. It's a double edged sword coming up with a name. You can go with Tiny Angry Wings Doodle Cuts the Jump Rope Water...it can get you views, but more than likely not get you any downloads. Or, Here's a list of some of the most common searched terms in the App Store, maybe you can use those to your advantage?
Here are some names I could think of Mimi Kara Kaitlyn Kimi Eva Eve Betty Kate Diane Fran Isabelle Belle Jackie Laura Lori Nancy Ren Stacy Tammy Violet I like Kara, Mimi, and Kimi Anyone like any of these names?
yes, I agree with them too! I thought that those name would help but they didn't... and I really like names like "Backpack Betty" but as I said the Backpack don't do anything in the game! I've thought that the problem is that we didn't have any specific thing (story, gameplay, etc) in the game so I added the specific story, hope we use it in naming. with a story I don't have to put a character name in game name and I have more options for the game... I added this name to list, Thanks.
Connector has some good names on his list. If you goal is to be broad, you may want to do a google search for the most current female baby names in the US and see if any sound good. Then once you settle on some names do a google search for adjectives using the same letter of of the first name and see if (adjective) (name) sounds good. Or try (name)'s (synonym for journey, quest, etc).
Here is the new demo: http://nemogames.persiangig.com/ I've added a multiple choice poll, please select the name/names... (but please suggest new names. I'll replace new names with less voted names...) lol! the animals have been cursed, we should hurt them to pass levels and kill the witch (boss)... This was the first try, I should work on story. I just want to say that we can't use doll style in naming... I'm making a list. I added these to it... We just have a wait animation and she found her iPhone from her backpack and start talking! actually No, adding a new mechanic at this step is not possible... @Connector: Thanks for the names, I like the 3 names too, I added them to list @MarcJay: Thanks, personally I'm ok with journey, quest, adventure etc names. I think these words show a classic platformer game, and players find the game quickly...
Love the hand-drawn graphics. About the name, I think I'd be better to choose based on your target audiences. For example: If it's the kids then I go for Backpack Betty.
Sorry. It was app keywords. Not app store search terms. I believe Apple keeps that secret sealed tight. Got it through appsfire, gizmodo and techrunch.
