I was not sure where to post this so if it's in the wrong area please feel free to move it. I have a 1st gen 32gb IPod Touch. It is great condition other than the home button does not work. I have heard apple may be able to blow compressed air into it? But I am not 100% sure. I have also heard that upgrading to the newest version might also work. I never bothered paying to upgrade because there was just a chance and I have an IPhone 3GS. So I am just wondering if anyone would be interested in making any offers for it? Or any other advice that might fix it for me?
Well, I had the same problem. If it is under warranty you can get a replacement one for free, via mail or a Apple Store.
Well its a 1st gen. So I would assume its not longer under warranty? I have had it since they came out pretty much. So that is not an option. I do not think I sent in any paperwork for it either.
Well, have you bought the extended warranty? I'm assuming not...but if you did you can still turn your iPOd in. Other wise it's pretty much worthless at this point.
Yeah, I am on both of them all the time. I just assumed they would be more on demand on a forum dedicated to them. lol
