  2. Great News!

I contacted Freeverse as well, and they will participate with one of their titles (more info later).:D

It will lend a lot of credibility to the efforts to have the current #1 app publisher with us.

This is a really good thing you guys are doing. Excellent idea.
I hope you get a lot of involvement. It's definitely a good reason for gamers to pick up some of these apps. Best case would be if Apple featured it in some way.

I spent 2 weeks in Haiti several years ago doing humanitarian work, mostly around Port-au-Prince, and I have a lot of affection for the people there. They were warm and welcoming and vibrant, despite the conditions there. Honestly, the country exists near the point of being a humanitarian crisis all the time, despite any additional disaster. Now this current situation is just mind-boggling and heart-breaking. (Seeing the Presidential Palace in ruins is a shock. That was a majestic building, and if IT fell it's difficult to comprehend what must have happened to the endless, tiny, close-packed, concrete slab houses that filled every available space around the city. Most homes in the city wouldn't withstand a sledgehammer, let alone a major earthquake. And there are just thousands like that.)

Anyway, best of luck in bringing this all together. I hope you'll keep the TouchArcade community informed.

    Thanks to all involved.

I'd be into making an iPhone formatted website listing the participating apps (I'm also a professional web developer), and a free iPhone app that just loads it UIWebView. Apple seems to be approving stuff so quickly now, and this would make it so they could feature the app easily in their existing structure.

  6. Last I heard, Apple still has a policy to not allow mention of charities in apps and app descriptions.

The iPhone formatted website is a great idea though!

  7. Absolutely we will! We are counting on all of you to help spread the word.

Once the site is ready for visitors, we will make a formal announcement that it is live.

We also adding a special category (donations and volunteering) as part of our application.

    Thanks for this great initiative!

    Count "Uggy" in as well!

In addition, did anyone suggested to make a standard text content to place at the top of our app description? I think it does help for people who haven't heard about what we are doing but just clicked into our apps.

In fact it is only our first game. It is not even released at this moment, but will be launched on 22/1(Fri). We have not idea of what will happen on our first launching. But we think there are no excuse not to help Haiti people in this case!

Please PM me for detail arrangement.

I just posted on the GameSalad forums telling devs about this Haiti relief stuff, so maybe some of them will want to jump on board too.
