GTA San Andreas Coming to iPhone!!!

I also wants cheat codes. But only after finishing the story

 

A Chinatown Wars like system to replay missions would be great. Did GTA Vice City on iOS have the ability to replay missions? Can't remember.

 

But i think missions here are easified.

I wish chinatown wars could be added back to the app store cuz that was a really good game too but it will be awhile i assume, but atleast we are getting this. Too bad the fighting games from capcom dont get updated for the iphone 5 screen either but yea lets hope we see a san andreas release tonight

I absolutely agree with you there. Though I seem to be alone in this, Chinatown Wars was actually my favorite mobile GTA to date. It just seemed a great deal more open-ended than GTA III and Vice City were, though, don't get me wrong, those games were absolutely, doubtlessly, fantastic. CTW just seemed to pack the most heat, as the gunfights weren't bound by realism and set the limits of what was possible further than either of the other two. Plus, I liked that cars acted as cover in stopping bullets which made the crouching (that was unfortunately removed from VC) unnecessary and that mobility was much greater in CTW. Driving wasn't nearly as much fun in CTW as it was in III, though, and VC's driving was too slippery for my tastes D:

San Andreas and Chinatown Wars are my favorite GTAs to date, though V was absolutely fantastic and undeniably the best title in the franchise, I for some reason grew bored with it much quicker than either of the other two :c
I'm psyched that SA is being released on iOS, though I have to wonder how well it'll run, and saddened that it will be beyond likely to exclude multiplayer, as did CTW, a feature I thoroughly enjoyed in either game before their iOS ports were released

 

Rockstar Games official twitter today says: It’s coming later in the month and we’ll have more info on the Newswire soon.

 

If I remember correctly (video games have rotted my brain!) Vice City was released on ios worldwide, arriving at about 11:00 Eastern (which meant it arrived in the early morning here in the UK). So this could possibly be San Andreas - I can't imagine what other big name game would be an 'insane out now' post. Fingers crossed!

 

Especially the Area 51 mission!!

 

If that is the case then this is the worst week all year for iOS games imo

 

I recently tried to play the psn version which I regret buying because the graphics were so bad I stopped playing after a few missions. I've been spoiled by the superior ios versions of III & Vice City which look gorgious.

 

I'm currently playing the PSN version and it seems fine to me. I didn't expect perfect graphics, I just expected it to be fun. Which it definitely is.

Having said that- I can't wait to play it on my phone.

 

Well its confirmed that its not coming out tonight, i think the 19th it will drop unless thats when the app store is closed?

 

According to the Touch Arcade article, the shutdown will happen from the 21st until the 27th. It seems like a release just before then would be a bad marketing move though
