beaterator has many many many problems just read the reviews it's only working on 3.1.2 and including many bugs i have 3.0.1 so gta will be just for 3.1.2?
I always take those crashing reviews from the app store with a grain of salt. People tend to forget to mention it when their devices are jailbroken, which makes a big difference. The main reason behind most "back-to-springboard" crashes is lack of RAM, which can be an issue if you're running multiple apps at the same time on a jailbroken device. In any event, in the little time that I've had to play with it on my iPhone 3Gs v3.1.2, I have yet to experience a single crash. Haven't noticed any bugs, either.
That's because you have a 3GS. The 3GS has double the RAM of a 3G, a jailbroken 3GS shouldn't crash because of the lack of ram. I got 160MB free RAM and Appstore apps never got me below 100MB free memory on my 3GS (unless I have safari open in the background). The iPhone 3G is another story they got 128MB less then the 3GS.
Beaterator for iphone is like a shity demo to the psp version ... i wonder if gta will be the same....

In an article where they are commenting on the pricing of beaterator the last paragraph reads It should be noted that Beaterator for iPhone is not a straight port of the already-released PSP title. Rather, based on what we've seen of it so far, it seems to be a streamlined take on the Sony project and lacks many of its features. It will be interesting to see if the publisher takes the same approach with Chinatown Wars when it is released for iPhone next year. beaterator is nowhere near as popular as GTA series.if they priced this any higher that what's it's currently selling not many will buy this even if it's as good as the psp version. Doesn't necessarily mean GTA:CW will follow the same course.Any way i don't care about GTA series much so will skip it
IGN is engaging in empty speculation to drive traffic to their site. Rockstar has stated that their port of GTA:CW will be just like the one for PSP, except for slightly worse graphics. They never made any such commitment about Beaterator (which is still a fun app, by the way). Unless we hear otherwise from Rockstar, I seen no reason to believe that we'll be getting anything but the full GTA:CW experience.

I read somewhere that the iDevice version will be the same as the PSP version, only with worse graphics.
