    Australia, mate!
    Yes, I have.

  5. I meant, even certain apps that are Free on the App Store are only available in some regions, lest paid apps. Apple should make all apps available in every region - they should try and get around the legal system, sort out the licensing and stuff, etc, in every country they make the App Store available in!

It's not really Apple that should try to get an app into a country, but it's the developer of the app that's trying to.

I hope GTA Chinatown Wars will be release in Singapore AppStore soon. And also hope Konami Digital Entertainment will release their games in Singapore AppStore too. Why Gameloft, Ea (only Rock Band not in SG appstore) and some others can be out in everywhere, Konami & RockStar can't?

Why don't you just make an account from another country?

If most people just make an account from another country, then why Apple make so many AppStore? Apple should just make one AppStore and all country the same.

And also is not that easy to make a US itunes account because of the phone number, address, email address, all this info need to be US.

Singapore don't sell itunes give card and we can't redeem anything on Singapore AppStore.

Actually, it's quite easy making a US account. What I do is I search up a famous hotel in the US, and I just copy the address and phone number of the hotel, but making small changes to the details as well.

re piracy: let's say a really good game gets released, maybe Diablo 2 iPhone version (just an example) with online multiplayer, or something reeaaally desirable, but is NOT YET available in the US. so you email the devs and publishers about it and they say " we are sorting it out". After a month, they say "It will be out in your area next year, PROMISE." and it's only March. You see the crk'd version available. what do you do?

this could be a reason for piracy
    (GTA pls come out)

Chinatown wars is not available in asia.I doubt it's because of govt. laws.Beaterator or rockband aren't available here either.......Why would porno apps be available here but not games like rockband?? I once mailed apple about this problem...they said you should talk to EA and rockstar. When i mailed rockstar they said talk to apple!!!!

Agreed. Singapore is probably the most developed country in Asia (with the exception of Japan, 'cos they're way in front of everyone else).
