Gameloft Japan said that GT Racing would already have been submitted.
And, it will be released soon. Both are information from Twitter (Gameloft Japan).

video look fine, like racing sims more than arcade style, let's see if this can beat nfs-shift, shift is the TOP-Notch atm....what i have missed in ashpalt 5 and should be implemented in gt-racing.

    - a dynamic camera-angel replay mode with save (youtoube or device)
    - vibration (optional)
    - a multiplayer with more security against cheaters.

i really hope they do more beta testing as in asphalt 5 and don't haste in relasing this game - it could be a really good one, let's see.

I'm playing Asphalt 5 now. Version 1.1.3 - and...? This game has got so many bugs, while you driving on ramp etc. I hope they didn't release second as much bugged game as asphalt. Anyway, I think this game looks worst than Asphalt - my hope is that, this is SIM not uber ARCADE like asphalt. Can't wait for this :)

The cockpit view reminds me strangely of enviro-bear and im being dead serious. The motions and all... reaching down for the shifter etc.

at least the cars have shadows. oherwise the game looks pretty bad. the cockpit view is 2D. i will say that the cars have realistic shadows ( at least the VW Jetta does ) and are shiny.

gameloft is only good at making shooters. the next time i will pay for anything gameloft makes is if they make a full 3rd gen device only game with full OpenGL 2.0 graphics that does not have a version that works on 1st/2nd gen devices and costs more than 9.99 and is bigger than 500mb. thats the only way iphone gaming will ever advance and the only way i will buy another game. i seriously want to kill big companies like Gameloft every time they release something that isnt 3GS optimized. ( the asphalt optimization made it look worse ). Also, im still waiting for a game that ONLY works on the 3GS and 3rd gen ipod and not for anything else.

    honestly for me
this is the worst looking game of Gameloft this year
    cockpit view looks crap
the other views and animations of the race itself doesn't look good to me
    just my opinion.....

Yeah, well it's probably a couple of more months left for Gameloft to make it better. and I hope they do Because the preview looked like it had Asphalt 4 graphics.

    Australia, mate!
Who believes that this game is capable of beating Real Racing and Need for Speed: Shift?

    I don't.
Seems to me like Asphalt 5 - clone, with some features changed but same controls.
Also, graphic is not all Gameloft can do (look at N.O.V.A.) and it can't be compared with Real Racing, NFS: Undercover or even Shift.

To me, GT Racing moto Academy will play the same role for iPhone games, as Need For Speed Pro Street for PC and consoles did: stunning but raising complainments.

Second that, we don't need another asphalt-clone. The good thing is that it's not a new concept/game from gameloft, they allready released it for other mobile devices. A good porting is asked.

I still don't undetstand what 4000 employees do at gameloft, i think that the appstore and the iphone is their biggest market these days and in my biggest market i throw out the best games and no half-tested stuff whith just a few 3gs optimizations which tghen don't even look good and run crappy/laggy.

As long as it's not fake driving like in the NFS iPhone games, this has a shot at being the the new king.

Real Racing's engine with NFS's content would be the killer racing game.

Yes. But there is no comparison between Asphalt 4 or 5 and Real Racing.
Maybe Asphalt offers cariety of tracks, soundtracks, tens of cars, effects, race modes, achievements and at least good graphic.
But Real racing is not behind at all - this game has amazing graphic (lens flares, reflections, shadows), a lot of control methods to choose, comfortable menu, multiplayer and global system rank mode and of course realistic driving style!
To be honest, I don't want to continue this arguement because it may end as discussion about 'Eliminate' and 'N.O.V.A.' did.

But I am definately for RR, I love to play this game even if it doesn't offer any tuning for cars.
RR is REAL racing, not SHOW racing, like Asphalt is.

    This is my opinion.

you are not supposed to compare the two_One is an arcade racer and the other one a sim racer.

Maybe Gameloft should just stick to the action/adventure games. Their racing and sports games haven't been that great (except for Let's Golf!).
