    Australia, mate!
It should be released by February 14, which means that it could be on or before that date.

I actually think this game could beat Real Racing. Let the flaming begin!

Actually i think it will be the other way around.Sure this game will have more content and variety than real racing but i really like how other cars tackle you in real racing

I'm with you. From a gameplay perspective, RR provides one of the most intense racing experiences on any portable platform. From that most recent video, it looks like GT is a step forward graphically (look at the dynamic gleam on all the cars, and the use of tree shadows, etc.), and we know that it will have tons of cars, tracks, etc. The question is, will it have the driving physics of RR, the AI muscle and the phenomenal sense of speed? Guess we'll see on the Feb 14.

Am I the only one who sees a bit of Driver physics in that video -- the way the car bounces a bit after coming out of a curve, etc? That would be cool.

Imho - RealRacing will have a big competitor... I think, that RR found it's master in this game. The driver pyhsics you're mentioning seem to be fantastic.

It's finally time for some real console racing feeling on our iDevices.

The "Driver" physics you mention could just be the car. Its a Shelby and they tend to kick the back out when exiting corners. Its an American muscle car - what do you expect? But that does show that the physics engine can deal with oversteer which is a good sign.

The real question is, will different cars handle differently? And will they feel like a different type of car i.e. rwd vs 4wd vs fwd etc?

    Nothing much. :p

I just hate Real Racing, and I hate how everybody respects it so much. Most of the people who claim they like Real Racing just like it because others do, so they're jumping on the...

Real racing is way to short and easy and the physics aren't that great. The graphics were good when the game came out but now the only good looking car in that game is the VW. real racing did have real looking tracks though, but I'd say Shift had the best overall physics. This is interesting.

and also IMO shift has better graphics than RR... now back with GT:racing, can't wait for this to come out

Did we play the same game?

Shift's physics are nowhere near realistic and certainly worse than Real Racing's. Things like under/oversteer, vehicle balance, weight distribution, grip, slipstream/aerodynamics and individual car handling are far more realistic in Real Racing. And don't even get me started on the AI and track design...

NFS Shift is imho the best racing game atm - the physics are great.... did you guys really play this game? It's just more "on rails" but thats good, too realistic suxx also, i wanna play a racing game not a 100% realistic simulation where it kicks me out of the road if i'm bit too fast or handled the curve wrong.

There are some minor things which could be better, like stronger AI, Cars are all with sponsors, Replay-Mode missing, but from handling the best. And you also feel it if upgrading your car with new tires, breaks etc.

Real Racing is outdated, but still good but does not beat NFS Shift. Let's see how good GT-Racing is.

Are u high or something? Did u ever play shift or automatically assume it sucks bc of the lack of acceleration. RR HAS NO SLIPSTREAM IN THE FIRST PLACE AND TURNS IN RR ARE HILARIOUSLY RETARDED. UR CAR OVERSTEERS AND DRIFTS SO AUTOMATICALLY IN RR ITS FUNNY. in shift, slipstream exists and works and drifting is much more realistic and turns are way better. U actually have to use the brakes in shift to execute a turn properly. In rr u just drift all the time and ur done. And in real life hitting an opponen will get u disqualified and so will goin off the track AND U LOSE POINTS IN SHIFT FOR THAT SHIT. AGGRESIVE AI IN RR MAKES IT A SHITTY NON SIM. The track shape in shift in shift is the exact same as rr, but boo hoo rr has grass and trees and crowds. The cars and physics and rules matter much more than trees and people drinking beer in a stand..

Ya I never enjoyed RR that much either...it didn't feel right to me. I did like NFSS alot though, the cars actually did what I want them to do.

i guess my REASONS left u unaffected. stupid Firemint fanboys. UR JUST SAYING THIS SHIT BECAUSE U DONT HAVE SHIFT AND HAVE NEVER PLAYED IT. can u change gears in real racing? can u use NOS in real racing? can u draft people in real racing? do you know that brakes exist in real racing but are totally pointless?

First, I'm not Firemint's fanboy, I'm just objective. I HAVE played NFSS and it's one of the best racing games out now. OMG, I can't use NOS in RR = the game sucks. Is it?
RR has PHYSICS, not "physics" like NFSS which is just very good animation (I'M NOT SAYING ITS BAD, just RR's more realistic/better).
If you are fan of NFSS you don't need to be rude to people who say that NFSS isn't the best.
    Brakes... Pointless... WTH?

You just continue call me "stupid Firemint fanboy" and using word "shit" and I can imagine:
