*facepalm* sure, those 2 games are completely different, and the only thing in common with them is the GTA part. so thank you for making me see that. I never would have seen that without your help.
yah just like super mario world is differnt from super mario 64 or do you think those are the same too?
*Facepalm...again*no, thanks to your knowledge I know realize the only have the 'super mario' in common.
The two games are in direct competition with each other, which is reason enough to be comparing them.
how? you cant assume people will debate over which game to get other than to prove a point some people perfer the top down view others 3d
I'm not assuming, people have been debating all day. Exactly, that is part of the debate. If you've got $10 on your iTunes account and you want a game about driving cars, shooting people, doing missions for shady characters and blowing things up... you're going to be comparing Gangstar with Chinatown Wars.
If only GTA would have a "save anytime/everywhere" option - this would be an instant buy. The same for the pc versions of GTA. I hate console style games where I have to replay the same part again and again. Beside of that GTA is an impressive technical presentation of the iPhones capabilites...so I would go with this.
i bought gangstar to see first hand what people were arguing about. i can say in my opinion.. gta owns. nuff said. peace. chris.
I haven't got GTA but I downloaded the Gangstar demo and absolutely hated it. The graphics, the controls, the cars and the police. The only thing I liked was that you could listen to your own music in cars. I'd say GTA, but I didn't vote because I don't have it.
I bought gangstar a long time ago and I never even got through one mission. I just couldn't get into it. It was incredibly buggy and froze constantly and the gameplay was just stale. Like Hopdap said in the review, GTA games feels alive. Gangstar fails miserably in that aspect. I still like to play San Andreas once in a while just to revisit the world the game is set in because it feels like its own world. All GTA games are like that. Actually, every Rockstar game I've played is like that.
