"You just won't be happy with any update except one tailored to exactly what you want huh?" sooo many people have been asking for quests, events, more towns and stuff like that for sooo long lol. its not just me...you say that this is a social mmo, and these things would all make the social aspect of it 20x more fun! we get a big update in at least once a month. i think they could definitely do better. "They can't just add anything willy nilly. People will get bored with "new" stuff as well. Then you have the same thing." they go around adding hats "willy nilly". id rather have them add simple quests willy nilly even if they only do take 30 mins to finish. everyone would most likely do the quest. hats, heads, pretty much all customizations are fads. people will just buy em when they first come out, then show em off for a week and never wear them again. people will get bored of the quest once they do them, but the reward for them wont get old. You don't have to buy it" yeah lol graal has exceeded probably all of these by now lol. i wouldnt be surprised if there have been 200+ hats availible for sale now. and by now theyve added enough stuff that everyone can find the customization that they like. no one has to buy it i dont i just dont like having the news spammed with hat updates and id rather have them concentrate on stuff like quests, and events that will actually make the game better. to me its always seemed that classic iphone isnt trying to make money by gaining players, theyre trying to make money by getting a few players then squeezing every penny of money out of them. He's only 26 by the way" no probably not...i can garauntee you if you went in the middle of town and announced that enyone who told you xors real name would get 5000 gralats youd get mostly wrong answers. and a 26 year old should probably be able to manage a game since younger people manage much better servers than classic iphone. I'd like to make it clear that both Redsox and Mike did work on their assignments. Mike was active on the document almost every single day he worked with us. We didn't use some of their work because it conflicted with where we decided we'd take the storyline, but that's not to say they did nothing. I appreciate both Mike and Redsox's contributions, and they are both welcome back on the team in the future provided they complete a small re-admittance application.
... You keep repeating the same thing. The manager doesn't do the whole job. That's why the STAFF do it. Also, if they added a "quest" people would do it and be bored. The iPhone capabilities may not be able to handle too much stuff. Complex quests and cutscenes may not be possible

Skill, for future notice, this kind of stuff probably should not have been told to you. You got lucky that she trusts you enough to tell you without hiring. By telling all of us and saying it on the forum, she might get in trouble, and you might not get hired. Just try not to tell anybody these things? I know everything she told you, but I have not mentioned a word and therefore have not gotten in trouble, or gotten Kara in trouble. Really, just saying not as an insult, you have to act as a mature staff member if you get hired. Gossip isn't too mature. Especially on a forum. As for what godzilla posted, I agree. What do you mean, Berries, that they need funding? Are you freaking kidding me? They have enough funding by now to litterarily build a house or two. They don't need anymore funding. And they are all volunteers. They don't get paid. @NYN - He is not just a volenteer. He gets a ton of benifits, including basicly forcing people to make him masks and heads (or if he makes them himself, it doesn't matter. Still benifits). You get benifits too.

Skillcape, iPhone capabilities are WAY above the standard set by Classic iPhone, which is why I'm saying people will be blown away by GK and possibly Zodiac when they come out, because they will be using the iDevice capabilities to their fullest, and Classic iPhone will look like a baby. EDIT - And I know Mike worked very hard as Tig said. He wrote a ton.
The entire Graalonline project needs Funding. Remember, apple gets 25% of each purchase. They only make about 70cents every $1. Also, they have to buy Huge amounts of bandwidth space to run the server without crashing. And Graal isn't an individual company, it's a game owned by eurocenter, which is a branch of Cyberjourers ltd... Remember, there are many Online Eurocenter apps that require funding.
I would be agreeing with you right now if I hadn't remembered that I, alone, have spent over twenty dollars on gralat packs and such. Almost everybody has a guild house, customization pack, and house pack. Half of graal has character slots, which is ironic, considering that we paid 99 cents to get the looks, but pay 2.99 to say 5 looks. I do not know of any people who have not bought gralat packs. xor pretty much calls the shots...its bomber and xor pretty much but bombers doing stuff elsewere so its mostly xor. and your not understanding what ive said like a million times lol THE QUESTS WOULD HAVE REWARDS!!! the rewards wouldnt get old. you have a great time with the quest once, then you have a great time with the item. if your so against quests why are you trying out for gk iphone as a person who writes quests? lol forgot to touch on that, berries, all money from graal goes straight to bomber and unimaxmad. eh i wouldnt say that since the graphics arent all that great but theyll both definitly all be much better than classic.

Actually Classic stresses the iPhone quite a lot, it uses tons of textures (all those customizable animated shields, heads etc.) while most other MMOs just replace some smaller 16x16 graphics. There will however be more use of particles in Kingdoms, Era and Zodiac.

Hmmmm, bomber, I love you and I appreciate you at least answering one of my PMs to you in game, but there are so many other aspects that can be added to the game. Though, somebody said something in this thread earlier tht really sums it up in my opinion and answers all of the questions. They said that in the end this is more of a social server, not anything else. And that is what it seems to be. I guess, being me, I don't much have a clue how far the actual iPhone capabilities are being used, but I know definitly that a few more quests and some reliable staff that are NOT GPs will not stretch the capabilities much more What you are doing is good, but what are Naack, Elly, and (I sob as I say this because she is an amazing person) Aikan doing as admins? Those are to just name a few. And the answer is this: They arn't. The reason they are admins is what I said earlier: THIS IS A SOCIAL SERVER SO POPULAR PEOPLE GET HIRED.
