Mixtures. I think exploring and Fighting go good together. Like you can make a quest that is about delivering a letter/message to another person who is across the map, but find out that that person is in need of assistance. They need you to kill like 10 Baddies that are blocking the bridge. After you kill them you can then deliver the message and return for your reward. I think there needs to be a Quest Bulding/City Hall. And a governor gives out the quests. This way quests would be easier to organize and keep track of. Like, you need to sign up to be a Graal Ranger (lol) and when you complete quests you get rewards and experience. When you get enough exp your Ranger Rank (lol) goes up, and you can take on more difficult quests. <--- This idea promotes grinding Having a Ranking system would change Graal. Nowadays people look at your hours and think of it as your rank, which is a bit odd. Anywho, adding in a quest system and ranking system could take Graal sooo far. Just think of all the different things you could do.
@ scragglebeard: nonts not the ta thing says that it's over on the 16th so I'm good. @zover: novarift? Sounds okay I'll give it a shot where do I sign up?
Um idk if I would say that quests "turn me on" but i'm definetly looking forward to them. I can see some shapeing Joe like a treasure quest, a joint quest, and more!!
Btw to those top two I'd still like to see a quest maker. I qwanna make a giant puzzle called the maze and itll e a huge outdoor thing tha has alot of turns and is very long and has monsters in it and stuff. Then you come to a house and you have to pick the right door or it starts you in the beginning. Lol it'd be fun to do like a jeprady thing in it that's like "who wrote the declaration of indapendance" then you have four doors with signs and you gotta pick the right one or you start at the begoning of te house.
I spend ages doing this then someone jumps into my bomb and goes flying into all my red and gold graalats and now im back to square one arrrghhhh !
Those are the dates the beta testing is actually being done, not the dates to apply for a beta tester spot. It is too late.
Ummm that's the problem... You need to imagine things in graal but y imagine things that can be real? Kinda dumb.. And boringblol not dissing graal just saying that having to imagine in a video game blows when a video game is based off of someone elses imagination that makes it seem so boring you have to wish for fun and imagine monsters and games when they can be there and should be. I am saying I will pay any amount of money for you guys to add actual content. I understand it requires work and money and I think we all are willing to pay and support you guys because graal is a great idea and game just waiting to happen!
I saw you on the fort on the map, walked over, used map trick, and you weren't there, so I guess that explains why.
the thing with puzzles is that if one person know it they would just tell someone else so it would have to be a kind complicated puzzle. But I really like the idea of a giant maze place. One quest could just be getting to the finish, another killing a certain monster hidden in the maze, finding a hidden treasure etc etc, Think of all the quest you could do about it. also there should be boss enemies who you would need several people to it, like your guild.
Ok, I'm doing some top secret house testing on my alt account, and I need a few testers. PM me in game if you want to participate. Right now only people I know for confidentiality reasons.
I still think that there really needs to be a dungeon. Use the same idea used for the house (teleport to the dungeon, then invite a few friends to join you). You can make most of the quests based around the dungeon, that way when doing the quest there wont be 500 newbs trying to interupt you, or steal your quest items and such. Then make a few varietys of monsters that are exclusive to the dungeon, add in treasure chests that have gold gralats (or whatever treasures there will be), and even add a big bad boss at the end. Maybe when the shovel is released, instead of making it a purchasable item from the shop, make it a reward for completing a certain quest.
