Gameloft's New FPS, Modern Combat: Sandstorm

Dude... That's already been pointed out to me a LONG time ago on this thread. Maybe instead of getting on me for something that's already been resolved, you should go attack Pug for saying this looks bad.

 

They fixed the controlls in the last update.

 

I agree the controls in BIA are now much better after the update, its still my best third person shooter to date.

I'm really hoping there is a sensitivity level we can adjust. Because I hate slow turning fps (prey) it tears apart a game

 

This game looks awsome but i dont realy like fps on the iphone, i works realy bad :/
So i hope gameloft puts the game in the dsi ware shop to.

 

#1 - Make Shooting fun ( wounds, Reaction, Kill Animations, Impact, Gun Animation, Muzzle flash )

#2 - Worry about everything else

#3 - repeat

Agreed they need to pull off something with this if its going to be looked at any better than Band Of Brothers.

Why would a FPS work any better on a DS than on an iPhone?

If anything I'd say it would be harder,

The graphics would look a lot worse too IMO

Looked at pocketgamers website and they had been informed that the game is supposed
to be out before september 1. Also looked att twitter and it was confirmed there! Cant wait!!!

Of course it could, but who cares! It is better than 2 months!! Hope its great and Im just now unpacking my new 3gs.

 

Im not trying to steal your "thunder" but Gameloft is allready porting there games over to dsi shop( real football and asphalt so far and another game thats not in the app store ) so what i was trying to say is that i hope they port this game to!

i kinda figured it wouldnt be too much longer....i mean in the video...it looked pretty finished. theyre probablly just putting the finishing touches and its pretty much ready for submission.

now we wait.....and try to keep our anxious minds from goin crazy.

 

August has been a great month for new apps, dont cha think?

 

A great month for hearing about upcoming games maybe. But I still think June was the best month.
The autumn/winter months should bring some great games.
