Hopefully a sale on some games they haven't put on sale very much like MC 1, Dungeon Hunter 1, or NOVA 1. Would make sense to put these on sale since their sequels have recently been released. Also would like to see either of the Gangstars on sale.
Even though it is VERY VERY VERY unlikely, a sale on DH2 and Eternal Legacy? Probably not. I'm still sticking to my original answer with Starfront.
I'm thinking either a free sale on one of their older games, (HOS1, BIA1, etc.) or a 99 cent sale on one of their newer games. EDIT: At least that's what I'm hoping.
They are going exclusively to freemium social gaming from now on, Ngmoco-style. They are going to develop a new text/menu-based MMO, like Storm8
I vote for price drops... Dungeon Hunter 1 please. Although Starfront Collision would be unbelieveable, I don't know why they would "surprise" release it (versus building up hype, like started with the apvent trailer).
I am sure it will be a free game for the 12 Days iTunes Event, as Appstore Servers are blocked until 29th Dec. ,so to submit updates is impossible or to change a price. I doubt only Apple are able to change prices , so I think tomorrow we will get Hero of Sparta , BIA 2 or well probaly a newer title for free (Avatar ...)
Personally, I think the clue is in their title; 'Santas gone, but Gameloft may still have some gifts for you. Be ready tomorrow for a little surprise'. Mmm cryptic indeed. Well, the language they use is SOME GIFTS - plural. Perhaps therefore, it's some more game price cuts? Gangstar 2, Modern Combat 2 and NOVA 1 anyone? Well, time will tell I guess... HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL TA MEMBERS! .
There are people who insist that Gameloft is developing a Dead Space clone. Perhaps Gameloft has hinted as much to someone in the media, but they have yet to make an actual public announcement on that. There is only one significant GL game I have not purchased. I have literally bought every single premium GL title with the exception of Star Batallion. I'm waiting for a sale, and I'm not sure why. I don't wait for GL sales. If there was additional sales to be announced, I would likely buy Star Batallion at 4.99. At .99c, it would be a given. I don't understand Fishing Kings. Someone would have to explain that to me. Like a video walk-through or something. Fishing Kings is the only game Gameloft has ever developed in which the core gameplay mechanics to me seem hopelessly broken. I could play it for 100 hours and never figure it out on my own. It just doesn't make any sense. It's the only GL game I've ever deleted essentially for being unplayable.
