Oh my burger! gameloft @metroidmen Haven't announced anything for Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus on the iPad yet. Still working on the iPhone / iPod touch version. about 4 hours ago*in reply to metroidmen They are so slow. 5 days ago they were gonna submit it, now today they're still working on it.
Im thinking the same thing, now we could be waiting weeks :'' I asked them about a release date just then, this is like the 5th time ive asked them about the game on twitter, im worried i might be annoying them . And its true that you rarely get a reply ^
just staying optimistic here....but if you search gameloft in the app store, and scroll all the way to the bottom, click on "show 9 more" (Canada store), and count the # of games in there, theres only 8. So usually when this happens its because Gameloft just submitted a game to Apple and its either in the process of or approved....
I bet apple has had the game for over a week and it'll be available this week and gameloft doesn't want to give an exact date because apples approval proccess is iffy at best.
Hopefully they completed testing the game for bugs, nothing worst then a online glitch to ruin everyones fun.

So that means it hasn't been submitted yet. I think it will probably be released early next week, Apple usually approves Gameloft's games pretty quickly.
Well on that note no need for release date discussions. I hope they constantly update with new maps and weapons throughout the year. I also hope that they add additional gameplay via DLC instead of just making a completely new game. If this game meet the hype it going to sale very well.
Apples aproval process doesen't work on week ends, so gameloft would have to submit the game RIGHT NOW and apple would have to approve the game in 2 days, wich is verry unlikely.
I remember the 9 games with only 8 appearing thing, it usually does happen when it has been submitted to Apple. Problem is, Gameloft usually holds it off after its been approved, then they'll set a release date, sometimes with new info or a trailer. Expect mid to late October.
They promised an early October release. That means to me that next week is the end of "early October"
