The IGN article says the game can support up to 6 players in online multiplayer mode for some reason. There are two possible explanations for this - either (1) IGN made a mistake or (2) the Gameloft trailer might have meant that there can be 10 players only in local multiplayer mode, not in online multiplayer. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter, TBH.
Oh mann caught the trailer, and it's just awesome! Didn't really try MC:SS cause I'm at my cash limit, haha. Damnnnn
So if you skip to the 1:11 mark it sez "10 p muliplayer local and online". Hmm... perhaps another case of IGNorance?
It depends, there's either people who have less than 1gb of memory left, or more than 8gb. The one's who have pretty low memory are the ones complaining about the size, while the ones with more memory will tend to want more mb for more content.
148apps and pocketgamer both state 6 player online, 10 player local multiplayer. Several others just say up to 10 players. 148apps: pocketgamer: edit: and PCmag.com says 6 local and online. I'm confussed now!
Am I the first to think of asking gameloft on twitter? (Just did that, I'll post the reply here when/if it comes.)
Sounds great I'm with all of you, super excited about this game. I liked the first one a lot, it wasn't quite a console experience for me, but it is a phone game after all. I'm very pleased with what Gameloft is trying to do with all of their mobile games. I think if there's anyone who can give us that console experience on a mobile phone, it's them. Still, I can't stop thinking how awesome it would be if Activision ported over Call of Duty 2, online and all. I think my iphone 4 could handle it, and wow what an experience that would be!
yea that whould have been awesome and as i see on call of duty 1 Requirements it could have full ported too iphone 4 with all the effects, graphics and all...
