hi. i only have about 13 people in my gamecenter... all of which i know in real life and are personal friends. for some reason a good half of them display their full name, and the other half display their handle, like elixx25 or something. strangely though, when i get a words with friends notification, for the people with handles, it displays their full names when it tells them that they took a turn. i'm so confused!
I think it's because the friends that still show their handle haven't agreed to the new Terms and Conditions which happened in a recent iOS release. So either they've not upgraded their iOS yet or not yet agreed to the T&Cs. Having said that though it doesn't explain why it does appear to randomly change which it shows sometimes in Leaderboards which I've noticed, but that is clearly just a bug. Hopefully iOS 5 irons out many of the GC woes as well as adding new features. A service like that depends on reliability and ease of use.
