I know people compard it to dev story and the steam one. I wasnt if this is indeed a true sequel so I did some digging. What is a bit of a concern I followed the links on tycoon 2 and took me to Michael support page. Page states it's not been updated since 2013 with no mention of this game. Having a quick search on Twitter seems the game did appear on store today. So I'm going to take one for team and let you know. It's not bad, very similar to the Steam game. The mechanics are somewhat different than the Kairosoft game, and the ability to juggle multiple teams and the way research unlocks basic game abilities seems somewhat novel. Otoh, my game just got torpedoed because with two projects in flight (engine on hold with empty team and a game with all employees), only the engine would show in the bottom panel. I desperately needed to release my game early before going bankrupt, but since it wouldn't come up on rotation, I couldn't. Game over. Killed by bug. There are a few other minor bugs or weaknesses. Training an employee takes them off work for a period of time but there's no indication they're training aside from a grayed out button deep in a dialog. It's difficult to switch teams on employees to manipulate project speed. It wouldn't give me a loan because I "didn't have enough money" though loans have no cost up front. In general I found there wasn't enough info as to employee status, etc. Still, not bad. Not sure it's $4 good though. I'm looking forward to more impressions before taking the leap. It's kinda cool to see how the dev starts out his business in his bedroom, though. I'm sure many can relate MSEagle2 Member Aug 9, 2012 16 0 0 #5 MSEagle2, Aug 10, 2015 Hey, dev here. A more visual indication for when an employee is being trained will be in the next patch. I have yet to hear of the loan bug you are describing - but I will take a look into it. As for you being unable to release your game - A temp solution would have been to pause the game, and wait for the correct project to rotate around. I will look into putting another "release game" button in a more convenient location (such as in the left side where the team info is displayed) as well as make it so the button to rotate info goes through each project. I would love to have a game like this, that cloud saves, and then when I get home I can continue on my iMac! That would be perfect!
