Just curious. Why not just include the retina display version (iPhone 4) as a free update to your existing game like ever other iPhone app out there? Why have a separate app?
We tried Now that we have to target iOS4, the code runs very very slowly on older units and in iOS3 compatibility mode. We're doing it with Chess, SuDoku, Kakuro etc because they dont have fast moving graphics, but we've no choice with Fruit Salad

Might definitely want to stay away from adding that "HD" at the end of the name if it isn't an iPad game. I think a lot of people would feel mad and cheated if they were looking for puzzle iPad games, saw the name and bought it expecting an iPad release without paying too much attention

Yes, however many people use sites like AppShopper.com to get the latest releases, price drops, etc...I know that site is very popular among people here. I saw Fruit Salad HD on AppShopper when it was released browsing on my Macbook Pro...I initially thought it was an iPad game. If I wanted it I could have clicked the download link and bought it on iTunes, and then sync my iPad...only to find out it wasn't an iPad game though it had that HD part.

Okay HD was defo wrong. Happy to change it if that is the consesus. I've changed it to RD and will take about 30 minutes to go live It's good because I'm working on an iPad version which I can call ... "HD" Thanks for the feedback, Dom
