Hey guys, don't know if you saw the front page of touch arcade today where Eli said, Well even though I tried to email him Terrorist Zombies, with the fact that there can be an INFINITE number of zombies drawn on screen at one time, I guess I couldn't grab his attention. One of these days maybe I'll get toucharcade editors to take a look at one of my games.
i really like what you got here man. good concept and the blood splattering was just crazy! the zombie movements could be improved but that aside good game!
Thanks, I'm in crunch mode right now to have this thing submitted by tomorrow night. BTW this final version is even better than the current trailer: Improvements made for the final release: -Lightened up zombies so they are easier to see. -Animated the cursor when over a zombie -Improved Zombie animations -Improved Zombie Explosions/Player getting hurt effect -Added built in iPod Music Support -Added OpenFeint Support -Improved grenade launcher -Improved laser chainsaw effect -Improved Air Strike so you actually see missiles come in and do damage -And about a million other little things under the hood The final polish is almost done, about 4 redbulls and another 30 hours and this thing might actually be submitted to Apple.
Just throwin this out there bro but any way you can send a fellow hardcore gamer a beta to try? I would like to become a beta tester in the long run
Unfortunately since the release of the final version is imminent there will be no beta. If all goes to plan though, you should be able to pick up the game from the App Store sometime late next week.
Terrorist Zombies has been submitted to the App Store! Currently in review. I will have an updated video soon, but as of now the raffle is closed. I will announce the winners of promo codes when the game is released. We didn't want to take out any of the awesomeness so unfortunately it is for 3rd generation devices only. Terrorist Zombies HD will be submitted very soon too. Here are some screenshots:
Because of Apple's new Terms of Service, we had to get the game in ASAP. If Apple does still allow games made with Unity after the 22nd, then we will work on optimization for 2nd generation devices.
