Maybe not in that video, but they posted a female assassin pic, so perhaps gender selection will be in a later build than what that person was playing.

I'm so hoping for gender change, I want to play a mage but i can't stand playing a female character as a guy....

Looks interesting and I love mmorpg... Miss playing them on my pc, so looking forward to this.
But... I'm not a fan of the silly wings on people :(

Yep. From the videos and screenshots, I'm not a fan of the direction this is going so far. I'm considering the fact that its in alpha/beta right now, but from my observations:
-the graphics looks slightly worse than O&C
-looks like a cookie-cutter korean mmorpg aka 'flashy moves yet no substance'
    -wings
-looks a little bit like a carbon copy of the current 'Avabel Online' in the app store, but better looking
-gameplay looks like a 'stop-and-cast-and-wait' deal; O&C has emulated WoW's fluid combat system the best so far in the iOS market, up and coming mmos need to follow that fluidity or I'm personally out
-reinforces (as much as I dislike to say) how well O&C was made and how its matured

Like I said, I'm considering the fact that its in alpha/beta right now, I'm just judging according to what I see. I eagerly look forward to the final product though. ;)

If PWM doesn't have forced PvP in questing zones that you can only opt out of by either skipping quests or purchasing temporary badges, then even with the flaws you've mentioned, I'll like it more than O&C.

I love PvP zones, they are awsome.

I love them if they are done right. But the way O&C did it was the wrong way.

They made areas that automatically flagged you for PvP and then had PvE quests leading you into those areas. What ended up happening was a bunch of high level characters killing all the questers in low level areas. For people who don't want to PvP while trying to quest and level up, or for those who simply aren't interested in PvP at all, this really kills the enjoyment of the game experience.

For me, personally, I love PvP, as long as it's on fair terms (not high levels ganking low levels). But the most important aspect of an MMO for me is being able to quest with my wife. She doesn't enjoy PvP at all, so once we got to the point where we were following a PvE quest and got killed and camped by high level players, she was done. That was it. She totally lost interest in O&C altogether. And I don't blame her. She plays games to chill and relax while having an adventure, not to be frustrated by unfair playing conditions.

When I learned that O&C added badges that let you opt out of PvP, I gave it another shot, hoping the big problem was fixed. Unfortunately those badges only lasted a limited amount of time and you had to keep buying them with the IAP premium currency.

Hopefully PWM doesn't have the same problem, because that's an instant deal breaker for us.

Sorry I have to disagree, open world pvp/questing zone is what makes the game for me, weather im the one being ganked or doing the ganking.

    What we really need from you Fedeen is;

    More videos of gameplay,

    PvP videos

    Dungeon Group videos

    General Gameplay videos.

At the moment all we're seeing is pictures...

    We need some excitement.

My favorite MMO memories come from Ultima Online, where it was free for all everywhere except in major cities. It made for great excitement and even great role playing. And I loved it! But the game was designed for it.

Games like O&C simply aren't. They just create a PvE game and make PvP possible in a few areas, so you get this mixed bag that feels tacked on and turns non-PvPers away from the game.

Going by the second video they posted on there Facebook page, when she runs the dungeon I'm really not a fan of the camera angle you can't seem to see what your attacking behind you, which seems draft, maybe you can adjust the camera and she just didn't, but if not then that's probably the killer for me... Not being able to see what your attacking :S

In the second gameplay trailer posted in this thread, you can see the camera angle rotate around the character, turn to look down on the character, and zoom in and out.

Hopefully there won't be any issues with the camera. I agree that bad camera controls would be a killer.

Yer iv seen that, but if you watch when she enters the dungeon, and then enters combat, you see her attacking mobs behind her, but not actually see'in what she attacking, I just hope when entering a dungeon your not just stuck with one camera angle like that.
