Indeed, This isn't a game to play in a crowded bus without any headphones. For the full experience, play FM the same way you play classic survival horror games, in a dark room at night and enjoy the horrific adventure. ^^
Awesome!! I also want to commend you for updating us here on TA regularly and answering questions individually. I wish others would do the same (I am looking at you Gameloft, EA...). Anyway, have you decided on price yet?
Cool, i bought a $50 iTunes GC the other day and that should cover my highly anticipated games for this year except Afterlife (hint my signature))
We haven't decided on the price yet but it would be a justified competitive price. More info about the price later.
Tanks for your kind words. We are a small indie studio working hard day and night with little to no free time. When i get some, i try to do my best to answers your questions and update the thread with new stuff (without leaking any important info of course, only what you need to know). ^^ King regards,
Hey guys, In case you miss it, here is a partner company featuring and talking a bit about Forgotten Memories and the way we use their technology: http://www.allegorithmic.com/content/unity-psychoz-interactive To sum up quick, allegorithmic's tech let you dynamically (at run-time) change properties in your textures (like for example those nice Silent Hill 5 Wall peeling effects, aging or adding cracks to textures, removing or adding rust, blood, and any nasty dynamic effect to your textures) and we are extensively using them in Forgotten Memories! Not only for dynamic effects but also to generate high quality textures with lots of variations! I'll be showing those in the coming weeks in a gameplay video but this time running on the old iPhone3GS! Yeah, we've promised that the game will run smoothly in those devices too! So keep an eye over here! Also, as stated, we've made lots of changes to the control/camera system (while keeping the same horror feeling) but this time is a bit more dynamic, you are no more stuck on the ground, you can dynamically walk and shoot/reload/melee, evade and dodge monsters, you can freely aim, the third person camera is also more dynamic. You have new exploration mode with an nice FPS view to spot hidden items and details in your environments, you'll be able to see how our puzzles, riddles and interfaces will look like and other nasty stuff we have here for ya. There's a lots of progress going on and is far from over. We are making sure that when we deliver this game to you, you'll be satisfied in an inner-deeper horrific way! King regards,
All apps to Apple to in that period HAVE to be submitted several weeks prior. Apple has a blackout period of not accepting ANY submissions after a certain date in December, as they close for a couple weeks to observe the holidays. So if this game is going to make it by December, it must be submitted in the very VERY beginning of that month at the latest.
Mr Nieto! Didn't knew you where moderator! Keep an eye closely, you (and many others) are on our private beta list. Cheers,
