I love the first part of that video, the teenager psychological/philosophical exchange. ^^

We are working quite hard to give you one of your best iPhone experience ever.
So you can appreciate every single aspect of Forgotten Memories.

    Absolutely. :)
Forgotten Memories features few outside (and also pretty big) levels to explore.
Outside levels are the biggest ones in FM.
    Rest in peace, ;)

I hope the plot will be a strong point of the game. I love graphics, physics ( i don't see everything, I know), but I don't know anything about the gameplay or plot. If this two points of the game are as good as the others...
Tatoforever, can you upload new images or a new little video while we wait for, please? :) :) :)

Never really got into Dead Strike but this looks better so I'll give it a go if it's under $5

    Hi there,
The price will reflect the game quality itself.
You will really get, what you pay for. :)
To gain people respect, it should remain stable.
We will lower the price only, when the game become older (months later).
    Cheers,

Graphics are good yes but the gameplay itself is the heart of Forgotten Memories. The psychological relationship between characters is pretty strong, the interaction between the main character and environments are also key gameplay features.
    Cheers, :)

Nice looking game so far - I agree that we definitely need good Silent Hill type games on the iPhone. I've been pretty disappointed with what I've seen so far.

One thing about the videos on the front page - is it just me, or is anyone else bothered by the visible light in front of the main character? I noticed this in Dead Strike as well. I really hope the final version of this doesn't have that - very unrealistic. Putting a point light in front of the character to illuminate what's ahead is one thing, but the light shouldn't be visible (unless you have a flashlight or some other light emitting object to explain its visibility).

    Yes you are right,
Videos at the first page are early environments showcase not actual gameplay. Even the character on those video was a temporary character to showcase these demos.
Take a look at this link:
    http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=36465&page=9
Theirs new images showcasing actual environments and characters.
If you wanna know a bit more about the game browse from page 9 till 40.
    Cheers,

Yes, I saw those images - very nice looking stuff, especially for an iphone/ipod. I wasn't sure about the visible lighting though since those images just show the models in your 3D tool (btw, what tool are you using?) rather than in the game engine.

In fact, the face light should not lit environment (as you already stated), only specific object as characters. It was a layering mask bug that was fixed few months back. But we din't care too much as it was just an environment showcase. ^^
Btw, environments quality have been improved/optimized since then. :)

    Tools/middleware that we use:
Unity Engine 3 (Is not only the best iPhone engine but also, the most powerful multiplatform middleware on earth). ;)
Plus, several in-house middlewares (eg: pathfinding tools, AI behavioral FSM, etc).
    Cheers,

We use 3D studio max/character studio for our environments, assets and character creations.
    Photoshop/zbrush/mudbox for normal/specular/AO maps extraction/creation/texturing.
    And external motion capture software/kits.
    Cheers, :)
