Nevermind. Tato is still active in relation to another site that is more specific to developers. Not gonna link it or name it but it is developer specific. He might just be holding back from here until the video is ready. Or just tired of the doubters. In relation to the thread going for four years, well that's been explained a few times already. The thread was never meant to be started as the project was not financed fully and only under part time development. And it wasnt started by Tato anyway. And other things that don't matter. But you can't put the Genie back in the bottle. Context is important. And the dev icon, well there's lots of devs on here with no dev icon. You do have to apply for it, there is a procedure and it takes time. And Tato just hadn't bothered with it. Again, that was explained not too far back.

I agree, people that come here to be nasty, is uncalled for. There is a way to say things. I see eye to eye with you on a lot of things Rip but you do have to admit, 4 years in the making and no trailer. That is a long time to wait for a sneak peek.
Actually, there are several videos in the OP. But a proper trailer (with the most recent tech) would be most welcome.
I Believe people have the right to demand a video/progress of the project. No need to be overprotective of FM's shortcomings!
You really don't have a right to anything; it's Tato & his publisher's prerogative to show you stuff.
Then don't try to dictate what everyone want to say about FM. You have no right either. I am not here to argue but it's annoying to see you bulling us here in the forums. Other people have opinions too and it's frustrating when there is nothing new coming in about FM, just speculation!
What's more..it seems that "idgeian" was right. I also think it all became really suspicious. I was looking forward to play the game in da future. Now I doubt it will ever happen. At least Am writing about it politely.
It's a Work In Progress. We actually shouldn't have anywhere near the info we have. No other dev does it. So believing one has "a right to demand" a video update is beyond ridiculous. I'm sure I have a right to express that opinion. I want a Ferrari as well. A Lambo would be nice too. I'm sure demanding it won't get it though. Some people's sense of entitlement is simply staggering at times.
Oh, it's not a sense of entitlement. It's just been long time since FM was announced and empty promises and delays. It's ok, I have waited long enough and I can still wait, it's just Tato should be upfront to us about the progress of the game. Correct me if I missed it but, this game isn't even in Beta
I can see why 'idgein' was banned because he was trolling. It's irritating to see some users trying to silence long time FM followers though.
Ok, well I totally get your point there and that very fair. I do think he has been as upfront with this forum as any other dev I've seen anywhere though. I think if anything, he has been too upfront and that has led to the expectations of more and more info. But I look at it a certain way. Development simply does take time. Stuff just goes wrong. Money runs out. It becomes part time. Other stuff has to be done to pay for your own stuff. Software interacts badly. Just so so many things. We just found out about this game here too early in the development process. That doesn't change my belief or expectations front the game itself. I still believe what I believe and really don't mind if I hear nothing at all until it releases. Most stuff has to be held back to maintain an element of surprise in the final product. I get your point better now and fully understand your frustration but you know maybe less is more sometimes and we should just hang tough until the release window.

I'm pretty open minded and I see both sides of this discussion. Tato doesn't owe us anything, it's his game, if he decides he wants to share it, that's fine. I don't believe in cussing him out over his own game. On the other hand, there are many people that really want to check this game out and eventually buy it. This game is slated for a May release, 4 years in the making. It would be nice to see a video, as he stated for last week? I mean C'mon.... ( again, I don't feel a sense of entitlement) he doesn't owe me or anyone else anything. Just a nice gesture to your fans.
