First looks of our longboarding-themed racing game for the speed junkies

Hi all

We are currently working on a longboarding-themed racing game and as we're so stoked about this project, we wanted to share a couple of in-progress shots with you. If you're not familiar with longboarding, here's a short description:
Longboarding is a discipline of street skating with roots in surfing, which is why it is often dubbed as ‘surfing on concrete’. It features boards that are usually longer and sport bigger trucks and wheels than normal skateboards. Our game focuses on the downhill racing style of longboarding, which is all about bombing it down the hill on your board as fast as you can.
We've hooked up with some cool artists to put together a top soundtrack for the races.
Here are a couple of pre-alpha screenshots for the game which is due out early next year.
