So July is almost over....I have my cash in my hand and..... no FF

 

An update wouldn't kill them, I just want to kno when this thing will release, it's not rocket science square!

 

Reminds me of the lack of updates we got with FFT

 

For all of July, the NA Square-Enix page announced FFD's release date in July.
I went to load the page to point that out, and noticed that the site apparently has been changed, showing the date as "Summer 2012" now.
Along with some rather neat info on other games.

Drakerider released last week, but without NA localization or English. Speculation on the thread wondered if it'll come to NA at all.
With this, i'd imagine so. It's an english description of the game with Release Date: TBD.
Good sign, i'd think.

I could've swore this game was cancelled or renamed or something, but I guess I was mistaken.
It's release date is announced as July 2012 for iOS.
...They seemed to have missed that release date also. But it's a good sign that it's nearing completion?

Another Summer 2012. Not really all that interested in this, honestly.
But I'm guessing that means it's nearing completion.

So, with any luck, at least one of these games should drop tomorrow.
I'm just hoping the delay in FFD is due to the AppStore review process, rather then the "release" being pushed back.

 

Funny because on that page it says FFD is "available now"

I guess summer it is then (I was hoping to have it before Saturday as I have a long flight ahead)

 

Strange...the page shows "Release Date: TBD" for me still.
Might be a bad sign for localization if they already say the game is available.

I didn't even notice that in the pictures, seems like they jumped the gun a bit.

 

Square really gets on my nerves. They never make there release dates and they never update u on the release status. Been waiting for retina display characters in FFT for like ummmmmmm ever. Im starting to think the workers at square just port this crap on there spare time. Its stupid. I they prolly made stupid money on chaos rings series and all there ports. Why not take ios a lil more serious. Ughhhh part of me wants to not buy there game cause they piss me off but damn there the best.

 

Have a look at Final Fantasy....and look at the message from October last year (I don't own the game but I would be really annoyed if I did)

 

Where the holy heck is this friggen game??!! Will they just release it already??!!!

 

I don't really mind the delay... Take your time and bring us quality, that's all I wish for.

Looks like I now have a time limit to finish Horn because I'm guessing that this isn't going to be a small install!

 

I bought final fantasy tactics and chaos ring II on squareenix..is this game worth buying like those two?

I'm on the fence too. CR Omega and II were worth it for me, FFT I didn't buy because I played it a bit on the PS2 (or PS1 I don't remember) and it's not my cup of tea although it's a full console game and surely worth it if you like the genre.

What worries me is, this is a feature phone game with better gfx and won't be cheap, before I knew it was a feature phone game I was sure it'd have an epic storyline like FF4 and 6 (2 and 3 in the US, the super NES ones), but now I'm on the fence.
