Because most iPod Touch users are only looking for "quickies" not large immersive games. On top of that, iPod Touch users are generally teens who don't have a lot of money or credit cards to pay for huge apps. Personally, I can't play a non-immersive game, but that's just me.
Same here. Casual games have a lifetime of 5-15 minutes on my iPod 90% of the time. There's a few that are quite awesome though and deserve coming back to.
Casual gamers dominate the App Store. That's why the forums here. So we can actually FIND the good quality games.
Because most of those were already in the Top 10 already. Not all games can be at the top forever. Take movies for instance. The first Star Wars was an uber-mega-ultra hit when it first came out, but it's not like it's in the theaters 35 years later. As much as I would like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Godfather to sell more tickets than the latest Katherine Heigl movie, they've already had their time.
Also don't forget the new MK is coming out next week, so that's why UMK3 in the AppStore is charting, due to the hype. Getting MK For the PS3 next week of course.
Um, no. It hasn't left the top 50 ever since the price became set at $0.99..which was nearly 4 months ago. People like buying titles they're familiar with, especially if they're only a dollar. That's the reason EA's board games sell like hot cakes. Besides that, people are just cheap in general when it comes to iOS games.
