Hi everybody! I've just completed my new game and submitted it to Apple: Green Fingers. It is a nice little pick up and play puzzle game that can become devilishly frantic in later levels The object of the game is to swap the flower pots and collect the correct items for your flowers to make them grow. It fully supports OpenFeint so it includes all the wonderful things that OpenFeint can bring to a game: Achievements, Leader boards, Chat rooms, twitter and facebook integration. Here are some screenshots of the game: Here is a video of the game in action: It will be available at launch for a measly $0.99 As always, feedback is very much appreciated.
Thanks! As for the controls: a couple of different control methods are supported: Tap a pot to select it, then tap another pot to swap it with the first one. Drag from one pot to another to swap the two pots. The game also supports multi-touch so if you play with two thumbs you can touch two pots at the same time to swap them. By dragging with two thumbs you can even make two swaps at the same time if you are in a tight spot You don't have to select one of these control methods before you start playing; you can mix them all together during a game. To speed up the game (and to time combos better) you can tap items out of the sky with a simple tap.
I really hope this comes out soon since it looks great! Alphabetic is extremely polished and is a very original game and Green Fingers looks like it will definitely follow in its footsteps. I think that the addition of Open Feint in the game is a great idea and the achievements always keep me playing a game. It'll definitely be picking this up for $0.99!
Good news! Green Fingers was just approved by Apple and should be available in the App Store right now: http://bit.ly/greenfingers (iTunes link). It was rejected by Apple last week for not informing the players about the OpenFeint stuff enough so it has been "in review" for a while. I'll make an official launch thread in "iPhone and iPod Touch Games" tomorrow and give away some promo codes
eggzbacon beat me to the punch: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=22758 I'll post some promo codes in that thread later today.
