You said the 99c apps don't make the cut. Basically saying that all the 99c apps are just a waste of space on the app store.
So why didn't you say that on the thread title instead? Obviously, this is not what you originally thought, otherwise, you wouldn't have posted "Every Appvent App SUX, except Samurai, which is good;" I think your intention was to try to get the apps on the appvent calendar to be higher quality apps, which you realized was a fuitless attempt when you found out that the appvent calendar was already planned out, and now you're just trying to save face. Just a guess.
I meant on the appvent not all .99 available, you really sound crazy... how did you go from .99 appvent apps to ALL .99 games are a waste of space? I also didn't say it on the thread title because I thought people would agree with me, I didnt realize everyone was deadset on loving these apps. (if you get an app and dont keep playing it, in my opinion it sucks, free or not)
But many people do keep playing them games. I play a 5 min game of trigger happy christmas once or twice a day.
Yea I know people like some of the games, but I thought there would be agreement that so many seemed like throwaway... and like I said its an app not booze, im only looking for quality not ' wow that was free!' I couldnt find trigger happy christmas by the way?
This entire thread is pointless... We simply have one fool proclaiming his ungrateful and disrespectful ideas on to a promotional program intended to bring benefits for many (which it clearly has). While not all its games have been quality, several have been must-downloads (33rd division, iblast moki, samurai, mini squadron). There was really no need to say such idiotic things, as clearly a majority of the participants in this forum have some common sense and a form of appreciation. Have fun trying to defend your argument.
A lot of the games seemed like"throwaway" games, but you still didn't have to say that every Appvent app "SUX." You do realize that you're losing face right? Just admit it was unnecessarily rude of you to say that every Appvent app "SUX" and let this thread get buried. P.S. Why did you write "SUX?" Were you seriously too lazy to push a few keys on the keyboard/tap a few virtual keys on your iDevice? It just makes you look like an immature child.
You have 2.99 quality games and people says it should be 0.99 and complain to heck about. Now you have some pretty decent 0.99 to 2.99 games that are free and STILL someone whines. Nobody is saying that you should love ALL the games, if you don't like it and you think you can improve the appvent calender, just pm blacksmithgames instead of being called a troll by almost everyone. By the way, the devs already said they wont be giving any premium games. The original post can be found on the appvent calender thread on page four
I agree. I think that most of the appvent calender sucked too besides mini squadron and iblast moki. Why is everyone getting so pissed off about this?
He was coming across as an ungrateful and spoiled little brat, totally unappreciative of the kind gesture put forth by the developers. They lost profit to give us a Christmas gift.
samurai sucked, it was my least favorite game, and you are an idiot if you did not think totemo was fun or many of the other games like 33rd div.
Has it ever occurred to you that just because you like certain games, not everyone will like them, and vice-versa? Every developer must get your permission before they make something free?? I think Draw Slasher is crap, and iBlast Moki is like a million times better. Take that.
A - Because SUX is not a word B - He's been moaning and groaning that there should have been better games featured on the calendar. I seriously doubt anyone liked ALL 21 of the games that have been made free so far. Just because you don't like a certain genre of game does not give you the right to say that a game in that genre sucks. This whole thread could have been avoided had he just said that he didn't like most of the games on the calender in lieu of saying that the ones he didn't like (i.e. everything except Samurai) suck.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there's no need to sound like a jerk when you express yourself. I admit, I didn't like some of the games in the Appvent calender, but I loved others, and i'm not complaining about it because I appreciate what the devs are doing for everyone else (who might be enjoying these apps). You come off as an arrogant and over-demanding prick because you voice your opinion in a disrespectful manner and that could have been avoided and your opinion about the games could have been preserved at the same time. I would understand it if you bought let's say Ravensword or N.O.V.A. and didn't like it, but these guys are doing it for free so if you didn't like it there's no need to bash it, just live with it. We get it, you want higher-end free games instead, but we all know that's not very likely to happen, and nobody asked you to enjoy the game or forced you to download it, it's there for you to like it or leave it, but to come here and bash it is just low. Obviously not everyone is going to enjoy the games as they're a large variety of genres and we all have such different tastes in games. We're all entitled to our opinions, but it's pretty common practice to voice them in a civilized and non-bitchy manner or you'll get looked down on. We're just spinning the wheel round and round here but I felt like I had to voice my opinion here.
I didn't really like Totemo, the quality of the app was fine but those type of puzzles don't appeal to me... kinda like those Lights Out games, man I hate those.
"least favorite" = "sucked" That there tells you everything that's wrong with the internet -- heck, society in general. Thanks for providing such as shinning example of our folly, jchampl. Well, I guess acidshaman beat you to it. Still, good job.
Sigh... You're no reading too.. I was just re-quoting thread starter's stand. In fact if you read a few posts above I wrote that I bought many games long before the appvent event, including totemo and 33rd div.
