You're expressing dissatisfaction with the games that became free. You're finding fault with the games available, putting them as "little puzzle games and flash game ripoffs".
Ok well thats the dictionary definition, not the implied fact that Im just being a jerk. Just because they are free doesnt mean they dont suck.. I would not play any of those games over a paid app, except for Samurai, and that airplane one comes close.. this isn't booze here, I dont need a free app, I need a good one or I'll never play it.. end of story

The point and direction that I had intended for this thread was that people would think that appvent could have done much better.. After Samurai i checked like everyday, but soon I realized that there was no need, and I missed all the days they were free, and looking back.. they were all lame apps.. I dont need free almost-worth-your-time apps.. just good ones, I can afford the good games, im not 11 y/o

No guys, he's just sulky that he's got getting games he likes for free. And for your info, I bought like 9 games featured in the appvent the minute they were released. We obviously have different tastes as I like all 9 games. You can by all means say you don't like those games but yelling that they 'SUX'? Plain rude.
If you intended the thread to be about how the Appvent could have been better, why didn't you say so? Instead, you stated that all the games were crap except for Samurai. And if you don't need "free almost-worth-your-time apps" then just don't buy them. Who cares, if you don't need them then don't download them. It's as simple as that. You don't need to COMPLAIN about how saddening it is that the free games weren't NOVA and Cannabalt.
Im just saying APPVENT COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!!! These are all games that seem to be dying in a corner in the here and now of the appstore.. COD/Nova/Inotia 2/Ravensword, these little dollar menu games just cant make the cut Sheesh Im just gonna spam this every page to save face
And if you're a developer and you're game was not doing well, of course you would make it free. In your words, the Appvent was a promo for the developers, causing more visibility, etc. So basically, you should have expected the games that were dying to make an appearance. Did you really think that games that were selling well at $4.99 would go free? Maybe look at a developer's point of view before criticizing. And if you're not 11 years old and have heard of something called a job, it's never good when you're job doesn't pay.
If the little dollar games can't make the cut, look at doodle jump, it's number 1 in many places now. If you want games like COD and Nova in the appvent, them you are a idiot. If you want more of them games and will not mind paying a higher price, GTFO and get a xbox360 or a PS3.
I didnt say expensive = better. Try Draw Slasher, .99 and its better than any of those games... even FS5 Hockey is more entertaining that about 3/4 of those games! and its FREE!! (except for 3 sec feed the hungry ads)
