I want to try out Eveningstar because it looks like a great shmup, and I've been reading pretty much nothing but positive comments in the thread. The graphics look beautiful, the gameplay looks entertaining, overall it just looks like something that would be cozy in my Touch . I would buy it but I've spent about $30 this month so I'm trying to cut back for a bit
I like to try the game because your video is cool...and I like to find out how to defeat the slug monster which is shown at the end of your video by playing the game. As well as to review it on itunes.
Cool! This looks like one of the best designed shooters in the category!! the graphics look AWESOME! Throw in bosses!! Cant wait to try it!! I am sure it will live up to the reviews!! WELL DONE!
I would like to try out EveningStar because it is badass and I am a badass gamer. In all seriousness, I was looking at the screenshots only half impressed... it looked alright, but nothing extraordinary. Then I saw the video... daaamn son, those images move?! Everything I'd previously assumed would be static seemed to come alive in front of my eyes, the comets, the air balloon, the bricks... and with real physics? Beautiful. I'm a total physics monster too so without this game I could quite easily shrivel up and die. Please, think of my unborn children
Why wouldn't I wanna try this out...heck just make a full length video, I'll take that! In addition, I'm not the best at shooters, but I love puzzle elements, the sheer number of different areas, enemies and elements is making me drool. I need to try this game so I can stop drooling (edit: oh, it was the coffee making me drool, this only made me wet my pants.
That trailer is pretty epic. I'm loving the way the physics engine looks. The game has a very clean and polished look to it. If you can spare a promo code, I'd love to try.
I love Iphone games. I own a PS3, but being a full time student, i dont have much time to play it. Owning an iPhone has brought gaming back to my life. That being said, this game looks right up my alley. I would love to try it out. The trailer is sick, btw.
This game looks very unique and polished, has a nice twist to it and I like those kind of games. Also I'm broke and I'd like to have this game
This game looks amazing! I love shmups a lot but I never played a shmup with physics like this one. It seems you have to interact with objects continue. Also the boss bug at the end of the presentation is sick!!! I would like to see how it goes. The graphics also are incredible. I would love to try it out. This one looks like a keep.
I want this promo code for many reasons: First and foremost, I love the genre, I've played Tyrian, Angel Rush, Skyforce and the like, and I'm a big fan of the like. Added to that, seems Like this game is like an improved version of the genre (from the video it looks like it has new interesting mechanics) and I'd love to try that out. Also, generally, I spend around $25 per month on the AppStore, and if I could, I'd continue to do so and add this game to the list, but unfortunately I'm a college student (= no money) and I spent around $1000 this December in Xmas shopping (about 90% of my savings) so I need to start saving again to recover that money and for that I need to it back on some pleasures, like the appstore, but I don't want to, so I'm trying desperatedly to win codes and gcs so I can keep my hobby since I can't spend money in it. Also, Im so interested in this game that I'm typing from my iPod in the middle of a class just to get the chance to play this game
Hello all, I would love to try out EveningStar for a number of reasons. Let me enumerate: 1) I have played a number of shmups on the platform, and while many are quite good, very few have offered anything beyond the "standard" genre conventions. This game seems to have something new on offer, and that is certainly appealing. (Inginuity angle) 2) The game looks amazing, and has received solid impressions by members of the TA community that I trust. (Suck up angle) 3) I'd just go ahead and buy it, but I've been on a TOFTT frenzy the last couple of days...doing my part to help out TA'ers. (pity angle) 4) As many here would attest, if I am ever lucky enough to receive a promo code for a game, I always leave detailed impressions on both this forum and the app store. I've been told on occasion that my writing brings people to heights of ecstatic bliss. (Commendable humbleness angle) For these reasons, and many others, I would love the chance to play/revel in/review EveningStar. Thank you for your time, and keep hope alive.
Eveningstar I'd love to play EVENINGSTAR because it is an Elegant game, Very Entertaining, New and INteresting, a Game of Skill and Thrill, and designed ARtisticly. I hope this sums up my interest. Thanks.
I absolutely love physics based games, and I also love space shooters, I have never heard of any other game mixing the two, but this ones looks awesome. I love the graphics and the art style. I would probably by it if I didn't have less than $40 in my account and need to make it last until I get a job, yeah, it kinda sucks. Anyways, I guess you could call a poor beggar asking for a handout, but it would really make my day. I always write itunes reviews for games that I get promo codes for, even if they suck, I give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have a feeling yours will be deserving of a five star review. This is why I think you should give me a promo code, because "it's better for you, it's better for me, it's better for them" -Captain James T. Kirk (on The Voyage Home, just thought I'd throw this in ) Thanks for the opportunity to get your game and I hope I win!
Actually, the main reason I'd like to try out this game is because the hero's ship reminds me of the Batwing in Tim Burton's Batman! I remember playing a Batman game in the classic Gameboy and it had a level in which you controlled the Batwing and it was tremendous fun. I've since lost both the game cartridge and my Gameboy, and thus would love to recreate that nostalgia and feeling of controlling the Batwing. Other reasons to try this game is due to the great trailer, which has Star Wars like sound effects (two thumbs up) and i want to see if the actual game graphics is as good as it looks in the trailer. The different game environment also looks very very exciting and that alien worm thing reminds me of the space slugs in Empire Strikes Back. Plus i love a good vertical shooter game. I hope I get a chance to try the game. I will leave an honest and constructive feedback.
Here are 7 reasons: 1. The developer of this game really knows how to create excitement. I was one of the people that posted in the original thread where there was only a picture saying "What is evening star?" 2. The gameplay vid is awesome. Great music, great shots of the game and just the right amount of drama with the captions in between scenes. 3. The animation/graphics are spectacular and I really like the circular shape of the ship. 4. The video says it is genre defining - who wouldn't want to be in on that? 5. over 100 enemies 6. Looks like it has plenty of interesting puzzle elements mixed into the game 7. Physics based - what more could we ask for!
I want to try this game because it's getting OpenFeint and I'll want to get the achievements. /honest
