    Yes it will.
If you go to eliminate.ngmoco.com, look at the bottom encrypted section. If you look close enough at the left side, around the middle, you should be able to make out the Plus+ logo.
Also, in other places and articles it has said that it would use Plus.

Quoting a post I made 4 posts above yours:
I'm pretty sure it'll be October.

Yes it's not a bad thing in fact i hope the control scheme becomes the standard in iphone fps. I wish previous fps like duke nukem 3d and prey gets an update with these control scheme.

Gameloft has no room to talk about ripping things off from other games :p

Are you crazy? NGMOCO has had this control scheme idea before Modern Combat ever hit itunes. The dual analog was created for the survival shooters, such as iDracula, and then adopted by NGmoco and Gameloft

Dropship by Ngmoco was the first game to use the dual analog controls.

One of the timers runs out tomorrow. Maybe they will submit it tomorrow. Can't wait.

I stand corrected. Thank you for the info. I have never played Dropship, thus I was unaware of the controls.

I certainly hope it is submitted soon, I am getting a bit anxious.

    Possibly, although I doubt it.

It doesn't matter whether or not the game has been approved if the infrastructure isn't there yet. They have to be able to support a bunch of people logging in to the servers at the same time to play against each other. If that infrastructure isn't there, it doesn't matter how far along the app is.

There's a bunch of games that used dual analog stick controls. iDracula was the first game to think out the box and implement them in non spaceship fighter games. Everyone else followed suit. Gameloft took it a step further and liberated the right analog stick to a swipe view, so that your finger would have more space to swipe.

...Except that ngmoco has shown videos of this game using the swipe view for many months before Gameloft's game was even announced.

Well he's not talking about the dual stick obviously, he's talking about the left stick to move/swipe to look scheme which was first used by BIA! The mechanics of the dual stick setup used by idracula and dropship is very similar to geometry wars and is very much different if you implement the same 2 stick with an tps/fps! I do agree that ngmoco rip on GL with this one and there is no shame in admitting ;)
