But I pwn very often, so it must help a lot ^^ I am level 10 now BTW.: Terrorist, do you have a life?
How do people strafe, aim, and press to shoot all at the same time? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just using my thumbs. Doing that there is no way you can do all three things at the same time. I don't want to give up any of the three, so auto-fire for me.
You can aim while you shoot... And no, I don't use auto shoot. I don't find it so hard to aim and shoot at the same time with those controls. Edit: 500 posts! Yay
It's usually obvious when someone uses autoshoot. I frickin hate it. You can tell because they always play like complete noobs but they have great accuracy. Really, since the game is very new, we're all noobs. So I guess I mean they play like idiots, not noobs. Edit: I'm not calling anyone an idiot for using autoshoot. I'm just saying there's a distinct "stand there and shoot" way of playing that the autofire people seem to have. It gets irritating for the rest of us.
I don't like autoshoot because then I can't be sneaky and stalk people to their death. Plus I aim well enough on my own most of the time.
I don't think it's necessary once you get some practise in. The first couple of levels are indeed rather hard since you're getting used to controls and such. But, after about level 10, you should be comfortable enough to turn it off. I can play with or without it about evenly (plasma cannon.) However, I STRONGLY suggest you don't use it with Rocket Launcher
listen:you should use it in the beginning but turn it off and perfect the controls as soon as possible, trust me.if you use it you will mostly attract everyone's attention and you don't want that do you?but yeah the controls aren't perfect on a touchscreen device
well all it does is shoot when you aim at an enemy, so it saves you some time lifting your finger and pressing it on the screen again! And it helped me get to level 19! (I don't buy energy packs, so that's why I'm "only" level 19! )
It has its drawbacks, but I prefer it. With so much action on such a small screen, I feel the auto-aim makes the gameplay much more streamlined and fluid for me. Without it, I can't focus as well on enemy locations and movement.
That's part of the challenge. I'm sticking with "its lame." BTW, if you find yourself getting humiliated by someone in a round, they're probably not using autofire and they realize you are.
I humiliate peope every game yet I use autofire edit: actually I dont, I just checked my options and it isnt checked -_-
The biggest problem for me is keeping up with player's movement while shooting, and the big problem of moving my view when I shoot. /noob
