The world you knew is gone—swallowed by darkness, overrun by the undead. Cities are in ruins, the undead roam free, and the last survivors cower in the shadows. But in the midst of despair, a spark remains—YOU. In a land where dragons sleep deep, they now await a summon. Gather survivors, build a new home, and rise against the undead horde. Your destiny isn’t written in the ashes—it’s forged in fire. Will you answer the call? BUILD & CUSTOMIZE YOUR SHELTER Surviving the medieval apocalypse isn’t easy. Rescue survivors and build a stronghold with workshops, dragon nests, farms, and defenses. Recruit squires to manage your base, upgrade facilities, and safeguard humanity’s last hope! COLLECT & FARM RESOURCES Cooking needs ingredients—you can gather them in the wild or farm them near your shelter. Sure, you can eat them raw for energy, but we don’t recommend it. Unlock farms to grow vegetables and fruits, or go fishing. Resources not only keep you alive but also help craft equipment and upgrade facilities. SUMMON THE ANCIENT DRAGON Summoning a dragon is no ordinary feat—it’s a rare and powerful bond. Hatch, raise, and fight alongside these legendary beasts. Each dragon has unique abilities—some excel in combat, others heal, and some empower allies. Always take one with you; they’re more than just companions—they can even help carry your items. Upgrade their strength and unlock their true potential. DEFEND AGAINST ZOMBIE ATTACKS The silent night hides terrifying zombies and mutated creatures, some smarter and harder to defeat. Beware of zombie bosses—they’re nearly invincible. Equip your weapons, armor, and supplies, then build sentry towers to defend against the relentless Undead Army. The alarm sounds—they’re here! Grab your sword and protect the last of humanity! RECRUIT SQUIRES Each squire brings unique skills—some excel at gathering, others at combat. Assign them to roles that match their strengths for maximum efficiency. They’ll assist with resource collection and zombie defense. Upgrade them to enhance their power and support your survival! Forge Alliances & Conquer Surviving Alone in this harsh world is a challenge, but with allies by your side, you can turn the tide. Form powerful alliances, reclaim what was lost, and rise together to face the darkness. Fight for a new dawn, where legends are forged in the heat of battle, and hope is restored through unity. Explore Unknown Instances How many instances lie hidden? No one knows. Fog shrouds these perilous places, trapping survivors in need of rescue. Each instance is filled with extreme weather , mutant creatures, bloodthirsty zombies, and powerful bosses. Equip yourself wisely to survive. If the odds are against you, retreat and remember: survival is the priority! The undead are rising. The dragons are stirring. Your journey begins now. I have no doubt when you get low on energy you will be hit with a special 'location'; that you will need to top up your energy to visit (i will test this soon) on the world map Choose a location and wait 20 mins to walk to it, or use energy and sprint. Generous early levelling up but soon grinds. Crafdting takes time or watch an ad to speed things up. Fairly priced monthly subs and a life time sub as well, well i say 'fairly' i have no idea what premium currency is used for but its alwasy nice to see a low price monthly sub No ad removal that i can see, even if you buy a sub, so already this game will be deleted soon on that basis alone - a game that will 'ruin' itself by showing fake ads with no option to remove them does NOT respect its own gamw Pet = Dragon Appears to have seasons so I expect season passes Not gonna lie, like all LDoE clones has little things which set it apart but they are usually just a clever reintrepation of an existing engine component.. so in the case of this game Squires and Dragon Force (Magic and passive bonuses) but you cant help but feel like you have been here a dozen times before.. and i have not yet played a single LDoE clone that has survived like the original OR a game by the original authors of LDoE or that has kept my attention beyond a few days. Levels are not just square 'grids', and are nice and full snowy landscapes with steep cliff edges and nice use of 3d space (highs and lows). They are also irregular shapes which does change the feel slightly. Looks nice dont get me wrong, you get a farly big pre-made base to tinker with, a nice early pet and squires. Some problems with QA as messages and intro test go off the edge of the screen on my iPad pro. Honestly in a market with DoZ (looks like LDOE but is NOT a clone and has its own engine) and Frostbourne (proper MMO, can play non stop with no energy worries), Westland, LDoE itself (which. now has multiple instance you can swap between), Grim Soul - the 'Dark Souls' of LDoE clones, Cyberpunk (another version not bound by energy) - this game is gonna struggle like the recent Greek game based on this engine. I will play for a while to see if it stands out, but i will have to keep my expectations low. It is however clear that the devs HAVE put a lot of work into this and maybe it will break the pattern and actually do well. My advice - REMOVE ADS WITH THE SUBS, Ad's RUIN atmoshere, are fake, are repetative - but if you ignoer them you feel like you are missing out and thats phscologically painful. If you have never played LDoE or one of its clones, give it a go as its definitly 'polished' McDeathUK Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Feb 18, 2015 94 38 18 #4 McDeathUK, Aug 27, 2024 So… lots of content, lots to do, more currencies than you can shake a stick at, probably too much - yes it has (as expected) season passes, but also masses of events, extras, popups, tasks, prayers (think summons), dailies, dungeons, battlegrounds , weeklies, everywhere.. i imagine this conversation Game dev : so what shall we have in the game? Game studio : yes game Dev : huh, I mean what ideas shall we look at.. Game studio : all of them it’s going to appeal to some, and as noted before if this is your first / second LDoE clone it’s polished enough from day 1 to stand out a little sebgo likes this. McDeathUK Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Feb 18, 2015 94 38 18 #7 McDeathUK, Aug 27, 2024 OK so final comment - this is one of the finest uses of the LDoE engine I have seen for a while. The base builder and a lot of the mechanics we have seen before.. but in the case of DoD its like an old friend welcoming you as opposed to a drunk uncle who noone likes. The amount of places to go, events, currencies, articifacts, books, is probably excessive but it all hangs together quite nicely. You dont really need to use ad's, but in the cases where you do (stamina, speed up a slow craft) you get AD Tokens which allow you to skip the ad.. now, i have made a few small purchases (I always make a purchase if a game gives me a days entertainment) and i keep getting these tokens, but its not really clear WHY i am getting them. yeah, there are a lot of money purchases but all in all apart for the bonus' from the 'first top up' I dont really see any need beyond supporting the devs. The life time sub purchase will keep you in gems a-plenty Recommended for a base builder survival game with RPG elements and dragons, appears to be complete, its very polished No spoiler tips Tip 1: as soon as you get into the base, find the ruins ./ snow piles and start clearing them up for resources - no need to speed them up if you get started right away Tip 2 : buy any tiny IAP purchase for the first time bonus and get the max level backpack right away before they change their mind Tip 3 : save your gems and buy the butler (you can test him out first with trial passes) - inventory sorting is as always a QoL improvement. You can easily get him with the generous early game gifts if you keep hold of your gems Tip 4 : explore every menu option, there is a LOT going on McDeathUK Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Feb 18, 2015 94 38 18 #8 McDeathUK, Sep 4, 2024 You a follow on to all my posts above... which started 'meh' but got more postiive as I went along Easily one of the finest LDoE clones out there, I am now a daily player. Lots to do, very generous new player plackage which gives you the best backpack for a tiny payment and then you are good to go. Its a grinders heaven, but every day is little wins so doesnt feel like a grind. I have played for hours at a time, and never had to once pay for stamina as you can use 'low stamina event' locations as 'jump points' to get around the map which is nice but the key story areas (replayable) are all low stamina ANYWAY. There are no 'random events' as everything is on a fixed calendar. Multiplayer is well implemented for pick up groups. Area for building a base is MONSTROUS. You can literally build a citadel or a small village Dragons (pets) are VERY well done and feels like a genuine companion, each dragon gives you different passives. The butlers make resource management a dream, not a nightmare. There is a premium butler which can also propegate material benches, but that IS a paid for bonus, there is a normal butler for in game gems.. and in the first few days you easily acrue enough to buy him. Anniversary event starting tomorrow, greate time to get invovled. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
